23.01.2022 Hot on the heels of our amazing FACE - Foundation Arts Creative Event last week, here is the latest article we have had featured in the Mandurah Mail. Well done to our Staff and Student Arts Teams - They are all doing us proud!

22.01.2022 Recently our Year 11 Psychology ATAR Students, joined a Year 12 Human Biology lesson where students dissected an eyeball. This dissection not only showed students the parts of an eye but they were able to see how a lens really does view an object (or in this case a person!) upside down. The brain then inverts the image so that we then see it the right way up! Why would psychology students be part of the class? Part of their studies is to learn about the role of sensation and... perception in cognition, sensory organs and stimuli. The most studied sense is vision and that is why the students took part in the Human Biology practical lesson. The human body is amazing!

21.01.2022 Hello Families...Below is the latest update from our Principal regarding the new start date for 2021.... Dear Parents/Guardians, I trust you and your family are keeping safe during this lockdown period. As you may have heard, there have been no further cases of community transfer of COVID-19 in WA for three days now. Mark McGowan, the WA Premier, has mentioned that IF there are no further cases of community transfer by 6pm on Friday, the lockdown will be lifted. However, IF t...here are further cases, then he most likely will extend the lockdown beyond Friday. What does this mean for schools? a. If there are no further cases by 6pm on Friday, then face-to-face learning will commence on Monday 8th February. b. *If there are further cases of community transfer of COVID-19 before 6pm Friday, then the lockdown period may be extended, which would mean that remote learning will commence on Monday 8th February. *In the event of the lockdown being extended, we will commence student learning remotely on Monday 8th February. We will send you more details regarding matters such as providing supervision for students of essential workers on campus, like we did last year, plus support for any families who need help due to the COVID-19 restrictions. This week, the Staff Team have been busy meeting together to continue to get organized for the year ahead, we have had some professional development sessions plus we have been working on our programs and planning for the term. Thanks, again, for your cooperation and support during this time. I do understand that it a time of uncertainty for families, but I want to assure you that we are doing everything we can to keep you informed and to prepare for student learning to commence next week either onsite or remotely. God bless you and I will be in touch again later this week. Kind Regards, Neville Stanway Principal

17.01.2022 As we start our Term 1 break, we would like to share with you the Easter message that our Principal Mr Neville Stanway has shared with College Families. Mr Stanway said, "As I was praying for a message to share with you, I felt that God wanted to highlight the significance of family at this time. God is our father, and we are His children. He created us to have a relationship with Him. This is the ‘plan behind the plan’ of why Christ came to die on the cross for us which is ...what Easter is all about. He came, as the Lamb of God, to take away the sin of the world and to reconcile us back to God, our Father. As we enter into a season where the importance of family is highlighted more than ever before, I want to honour you, as parents, for the amazing work you do and the responsibility that you have. My wife and I have four beautiful daughters, three son-in-laws and four amazing grandchildren. As a father and grandfather, I feel the privilege and responsibility to lead my family during this time of uncertainty. I have recorded a short (5 minute) Easter message for families that I want to encourage you with." We hope you are blessed by this special Easter message from our College Principal.

14.01.2022 FCC GRADUATE SPOTLIGHT - KELLY SANSOM This article extract was featured in a publication from the University of Western Australia and we thought you would enjoy it. Kelly’s passion for science began in her high-school science classes at Foundation Christian College (FCC). ... At school, Kelly enjoyed being exposed to a variety of science topics such as plant, animal and human biology, chemistry, physics and geology. In 2014, she graduated from FCC and went on to complete a Bachelor of Science, specialising in Anatomy and Human Biology. After graduating in 2018, Kelly realised she enjoyed research and decided to pursue this as a career path by enrolling in a three-year Doctor of Philosophy research program at The University of Western Australia (UWA).
