25.01.2022 To all of our amazing clients, We hope you and your family are doing well during this very difficult time, who would've thought that something like this would have happened. All we can do is look after one another, stay positive and ride the wave until all of this is over. As we informed you earlier in the week Flight Centre Menai is closing effective today 24th April.... We am writing to you today with sad news that Flight Centre announced today that our team has been temporarily stood down effective immediately, however Jade our team leader will remain to look after all of your bookings. Please be assured that Flight Centre Menai will be back, this is only a temporary closure however in the meantime all your bookings will be looked after by our caretaker store which Jade will be working out of, which is Flight Centre Gymea. Their contact number is 02 9531 3500 or 1300 531 622. Jade will still be your point of contact in Gymea and Jade will still be looking after all of your enquiries as well as the rest of Menai's enquiries so we please ask you for your patience while we navigate this time. Jade will be in Gymea Tuesday to Friday if you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to call or email her. For your reference again her email is [email protected] and her work mobile number is 0451 707 503. It is not yet known to us at this stage how long our store will remain closed or our team stood down for but we will be back in Menai soon and we hope to continue to look after you for all future travel. 20.01.2022 To dear our Valuable Clients, It is with great sadness that I am typing this to inform you that as of Friday 24th April Flight Centre Menai will be temporarily closing. Unfortunately this is not an easy decision for Flight Centre to make, however being in the middle of a worldwide pandemic this is something that we have to do temporarily to make sure our business will survive and we will be back stronger than ever to help plan your future travel arrangements. ... You will not be left abandoned, all of Menai's bookings will be moved to our caretaker store which is Gymea Flight Centre. Our phone number will be temporarily disconnected as of Friday at 5pm. I wanted to take the time to thank you for your patience and cooperation so far. I know it has been a stressful time for all of you and we really appreciate your support during this time. I also wanted to thank you incredibly for your support since we opened, our community has been amazing. As I said we will still be able to look after you all however we will be temporarily looking after you out of the Gymea office for the future until enough work returns for us to re-open our Menai store and continue to operate as normal. We love planning holidays from start to finish building relationships with our clients and hearing about the amazing trips they have had when they return. We dont get paid amazingly but we are there because we are for travelers by travelers. We have been though many global disasters before including 9/11, bali bombings, Sri lanka bombings, France bombings, GFC, SARS, Bird Flu, Swine Flu, Volcanos, Cyclones, you ...name it we have probably dealt with it. What we are going through right now though is unprecedented. The travel industry will however bounce back! Soon enough the airlines will be flying, cruise ships will be sailing, and the world will reopen for those who have a desire to explore this amazing planet of ours! All I ask is that if at all possible please dont cancel your travel plans for refunds please put your travel plans into future holiday credits. This will keep over 30,000 agents in their jobs and sustain us to be there for you to continue helping plan amazing travel Experiances.
