25.01.2022 The Other Guys FC - 2 (Zeidan, Dickin) v Puyol Pants Down - 8 The season kicked off controversially this evening as notorious bad boy Logan Faull neglected to bring half time oranges. This deliberate act lowered team morale and likely contributed to tonight's defeat. Coaching staff highlighted that fitness and positioning are areas requiring improvement going into next game. Sean Smith (Capitan) also said he saw a black cat before the match, it's likely that this also contributed to tonights loss. With Average Joes our next opponent, coaching staff have scheduled additional training sessions to prepare for the match.

15.01.2022 Behind the Jersey - Thomas Dwyer Often nicknamed 'The Gentle Giant', Tom is well liked by all members of the international football community mainly due to his ability to maintain small talk for extended periods of time. When questioned by media regarding his biggest weakness for the 2020 season, Tom described it as his forgetfulness. He continued to remark "I often forget which position I am supposed to be playing, so I just end up following the ball the whole time". 15.01.2022 Good session today, coaching staff were pleased with the improvement in the squad from last session. Sean Smith (Captain) told media that "Ball control is still a major issue and we need to work on this if we are going take out the cup this year". 14.01.2022 Behind the Jersey - Sean Smith Sean is well renowned for his nonconventional and often controversial methods of captaining his squad. His strategic approach to the game centres around Kanye West's hit song 'Stronger' which dicates you must be "harder, better, faster and stronger' than your opponent. Sean has recently been reprimanded my team management for his choice of music during pregame warmups. 13.01.2022 Behind the Jersey - Logan Faull Logan is a Kiwi international who has crossed the ditch in search of a squad that accepts him and is willing to work around his expensive Redbull addiction. Luckily, during a chance encounter, scouts from The Other Guys FC noticed Logan acting out a scene from 'She's the Man" and offered him a spot on the squad. The Other Guys FC remains optimistic that Logan knows how to play football and didn't just have incredibly realistic acting skills. As... a part of his contact, he is also required to supply half time oranges at each match. 13.01.2022 Behind the Jersey - Karl Schmidt Currently in Europe training with FC Bayern Munich, Karl is set to join the squad in round 2. Karl assures us that his fitness is remarkable and his ball skills are top notch. He regards his greatest strength as his speed, describing it as "Sonic fast, not even sonic could catch me". He continued to mention his greatest weakness is his left ankle, as he suffered a horrific accident in Nerang when warming up for Trinity FC. He stated "Quite fra...nkly it's never been the same haha". 10.01.2022 Remours have been circulating following a statement made to media by notorious bad boy Logan Faull. He publicly criticised our football club by remarking: "Why do I have to bring the half time oranges to each match when Kiwi Fruit is clearly the superior half time snack?". The Other Guys FC would like to deny all rumours that there would be any alterations to the half time snack and we can say with 100% certainty that there will only ever be oranges at half time. Captain Sean Smith said "Why would you have anything apart from oranges at half time, is this some kind of sick joke?".

09.01.2022 Round 2 Recap Tonight Karl Schmidt made his much awaited debut for The Other Guys FC. He was infact 'sonic fast' but burnt out quickly, having an off-field tactical spew. This however did not excuse the fact that Hesam Feizmanesh conceded a penalty in the dying minutes of the game, luckily his electric performance made up for this. All other players were absolutely remarkable. Coaching staff were pleased with tonights second half performance and are looking forward to next weeks match against NBA FC.

08.01.2022 Behind the Jersey - Matthew Dickin Dubed 'The Magician', Matt is able to create attacking plays out of thin air and quite literally do the impossible. These skills were taught to Matt in 2016 when he was personally mentored and guided by José Mourinho. His sensational left foot in combination with his ability to read the game make him a dangerous player feared by many. Matt is more widely known for his personality off the field, working with endangered animals, reading to the... elderly and saving babies lives. His biggest issue this season won't be on the field, but it will be fighting off all the ladies that want to snap him up. 05.01.2022 Behind the Jersey - Hesam Feizmanesh Hesam is a talented, rising young international signing of ours. Born in Tehran, Iran in 1999, Hesam has had a passion for football ever since he was able to walk. However he rose to fame and made his first major appearance when he was 16 where he signed for Southport FC. 04.01.2022 Preseason training kicked off today with a bang. We were pleased to see several fans turning up to watch the session take place and see us sporting our brand new playing kits for the upcoming season. In this light session, fitness and ball control were highlighted by coaching staff to be lacking and require improvment if The Other Guys FC are to be competitive in the summer 2020 season.
