19.01.2022 No matter what problem you're having with your horse. You have to change your horse's attitude. It’s not a question of working on a specific issue. It’s a question of having him trying for you, instead of fighting against you. Whether you’re riding your horse or working with him on the ground, it’s always the same simple solution when you’re having problems. After all, if your horse is confident and relaxed and moves where you ask, when you ask and how you ask, all your pro...blems will be over. 16.01.2022 NEIL'S BOOK - FEAR-FREE HORSE TRAINING, every step of the way presents original knowledge revealed to him by working with thousands of different horses. There are no problem horses, he believes, only incorrectly informed people. Neil's intrinsic point of difference is his belief that horses should never be frightened at any stage of their training. He says, There’s never a need to get a horse used to anything. Instead, everything must be introduced in a manner that a hor...se can understand and accept without fear. Davies first introduced his radical training approach to American audiences over twenty five years ago. He explains: Many times I grew discouraged, because increasingly the popular approach to training horses was, and still is, chasing them in a round pen until they are exhausted, then terrifying them even more with flags and ropes. I even saw one clinician with a roaring chainsaw!! After twenty five years, I decided it was time to show there is an easier and more gentle way to reach a horse and that's why I wrote this book. 14.01.2022 People often describe how their horse feels when they’re riding. Some say their horse is soft in the mouth and light and supple. Some say their horse is stiff and hard and they need to flex him to one side to soften his neck and poll. Others say their horse is hard in the mouth and they need to soften his jaw. By thinking in this way, you’ve forgotten that every part of your horse’s body is connected to his mind. ... Learn more here: www.fearfreehorsetraining.com//why-your-horse-feels-soft-o

13.01.2022 Thanks for all your support throughout the year and all the best for Christmas from Neil

12.01.2022 From Gina Snyder Hill, Mississippi USA "The pony that couldn't be caught, that couldn't be ridden bareback, that dumped her on her head. Your book changed this pony's life and how I train my horses. Thank you! She's so confident now and much less fearful. She doesn't miss my stick/bag waving stupidity at all."... 11.01.2022 How lovely is this? Longtime client Neil Davies shared this with me yesterday and I was so happy for him. We first worked together way back in 2013 as we spent ...most of the year creating his 238 page book ‘Fear-free Horse Training’. The first print run was 2000, with the second 5000 and I believe his done a third print run and possibly even a fourth (I can’t keep up) which is pretty mind blowing for a self publisher. He and his wife Chris were a dream to work with and I feel privileged to know them. Many thanks go to Laurel Cohn Editing and Manuscript Services for connecting us all.
