25.01.2022 Whats on at Featherhorn.... EVERY FRIDAY - 11am-4pm - Liquid Crystal Energy Healing and Reiki with Rachel. Do yourselves a favour and book a session - $45/half hour - Rachel will discover which potion of Liquid Crystal your body during her healing session, these concoctions are potent and magical.... EVERY SATURDAY - 10-5pm - Oracle Readings by our very own white Witch Tia. Tia is also a trained Psychotherapist who has worked at the Castle of Magic and Wichcraft in England for years. Ive seen people walk into their appointments in tears from the pressures of life who, after an hour with Tia leave laughing and invigorated. Tia is very mindful of peoples sensitivity, her session is a gentle guidance towards a happier life path. Tias Oracle readings are $90/1hr session - highly recommend booking in advance. FIRST FRIDAY OF EVERY MONTH - Ayurvedic Meditation Dance and Spiritual Talk with Valentine Ferreira. A very special session from 6.30pm pay by donation only. Also our doors will stay open until 8pm for Bubbles, Busker and Browse - receive a complimentary glass of pink champagne, or sparkling water and some yummy nibbles on arrival, listen to some live music by talented local musicians while having a browse through the shop. These nights are very social and fun. Valentine says What a lovely vibe on Friday evening as the music playing in the front blended into the dance and meditation in the back. 23.01.2022 We have a new addition in our shop - our Divine Aphrodite Goddess Wing mural painted yesterday by our favourite local artist Anita Revel, Artist - to celebrate all women, because we are all beautiful Goddesses. Today many of our wonderful customers stopped by and had fun getting their photo taken in front of the mural - the perfect back drop! Even the guys love it too!

22.01.2022 Its time to CELEBRATE my dear ones! If you're free this Friday night come down to my shop for our 3rd Catwalk showcasing our latest range of pretty dresses, enjoy a glass of Flor Marche wine by my Friend Elizabeth Christine Reed who will be doing a wine tasting of her beautiful vinos she creates herself in Margaret River don't miss out on that!!! I'll be handing a bit of yummy stuff around, DJ Sophie Regnier - aka @matrikabeats will be mixing sweet tunes, our beautiful Bella ...Blakemore will be opening the night with her acoustic guitar and singing. The sexy as Samba girls AmouraBrenda Miller, Ricitos de Ori will dance for us (why are all South American women so damn hot?) Cate Shepherd will give us a hot hot fire dance, and Jane upstairs will be opening her studio apartment to the public to showcase her very first art exhibition! But the night is more than just all that, it's a thank God we got through Covid as well as we have, let's hope it doesn't end up here, how lucky are we, how great is life? And how wonderful I accidentally ended up with my amazing business partner Paula Pritchard who I only met just before Covid, when my shop went from just little ol me to now a team of 7 of us and an online business too! I must mention the main message Featherhorn spreads - and that is women supporting women - all women of all shapes, sizes, ages and backgrounds. We have a beautiful catwalk of amazing women lined up for you - hope to see you there. 20.01.2022 This is Jo. Jo is giving me a great big fuck you for making her wear pink boots and look girlie and stand in front of a mural and have her photo taken. Jo works by day at Fremantle Accident Repair Centre (FARC) with a bunch of greasy mechanics who repair cars all day long. Jo and her team have saved my arse many times and I am a big fan of FARC, having driven my poor cars there in many sorry states. In the 15 years Ive known Jo Ive never seen her in a dress until today! No...t just because of the industry shes in but in the past 5 months Jo has shed an incredible 32 kilos!!! It gives me great job satisfaction to help Jo and many women like her who have had a huge physical transformation to discover their inner feminine goddess again and slowly get over their body dysmorphia. Like many other women Jo still sees herself the way she was before, and it will take some time to get used to the way she is now and to feel comfortable in her new skin. I believe it doesnt matter what shape or size you are, it matters how you feel, and like Jo said she feels lighter and lifted, like shes shed some dead weight of the past. Wearing a pretty dress again makes Jo feel reconnected with her former girlie self she somehow lost along the way.

08.01.2022 This is Bec. Bec is a very well known Freo identity, doing the rounds of the beach and streets with her little dog Joey talking to every human and their dogs along the way. Bec is not shy of telling how it is (or how Bec sees it) having been recently on Channel 7 after bumping into Peter Rosethorpe at the Esplanade and when asked her opinion on government funded childcare and whether it should exist she responded people should learn to keep it in their pants! When Bec was ...a healthy, vivacious 5 year old she survived being hit by a car, stopped breathing 3 times, and is very,very lucky to be alive. Unfortunately the accident left her with physical disability, but that hasnt stopped this fierce warrior woman living a good life! We think Bec looks so beautiful in our Jaspa dress

04.01.2022 There I was in the shop thinking about my dear friend Constance Hall and how much shes been through lately with Denims motorbike accident, having to juggle 6 kids between Margaret River and Perth while staying faithfully by her husbands side in ICU, waiting with baited breath while he reopened his eyes after coma and surgery, watching wide eyed for any signs of recovery and any long term physical effects and potential brain damage and not once giving up hope to be reunited... with the man she was only telling me minutes before his accident that he is the absolute love of her life, her soul mate. I was just thinking how its been almost too much to bare, how one minute your laughing and joking with your bestie, the next thing your whole life can change in a second. When, in that exact moment of my thoughts - in walked this beautiful Queen wearing @queenthelabel - one of my friends stunning designs! So much synchronicity. I listened with pride as Tamsyn told me how she gets stopped in the street every time she wears this dress. I picked up the phone and called Con to tell how much I love her and how proud I am of her and everything shes been through, for holding it together through the worst time of her life. And on top of it all releasing her latest range of beautiful clothing, even though working has been the last thing on her mind, but a survival necessity. The new range is awesome like her and everthing she does. My friend and I share the same passion for fashion that compliments women, and promotes women supporting women and holding each other up high. Im grateful Ive been able to be a friend to my dear friend and support her through this tough time, I hadnt seen her in months because of covid but I just so happened to be in the worse place at the right time, when life turned upside down for her. What Ive witnessed since is a strong community of friends and family banding together to support my friend and take care of her kids. I saw my friend shower her entire being of love, heart and soul onto her husband throuh sleep deprivation, anxiety and despair, which I one thousand percent believe has been the main instigator in Denims recovery, I saw a husband and father not yet ready to jump ship and bravely pull through against great odds, I saw kids being very very brave, after being told the possible worst and being rewarded with the best news. I saw my son support his best friend through his second worst tragedy. I saw dedication, determination and absolute true love at its very finest. Xxx
