24.01.2022 My last two babies have gone to their new home & sure have missed them! - Milkshake & Smoothie found the same home together and are just adored by their new family =)

23.01.2022 Remember the baby canary i handraised in late October.. meet Weedles.. He loves to fly around the house and be nosy, sit on your shoulder and mostly follow me everywhere.. but his favourite place of all is sitting on the laptop while your trying to type! lol.. Weedles comes when i call him and even goes back in his cage on his own (something *Princey* doesn't even do!!) He also loves hanging out with the all the parrots of the house.. sometimes i wonder if he actually knows he is a Canary!

23.01.2022 Bro & Sunny came back again this year for another 2 week holiday, this time with new friend Maggi.. while their owners enjoyed a holiday once again over in KI

16.01.2022 One Buddy leaves and another Buddy returns - Buddy the cockatiel has come back for another 2 weeks - he's becoming a bit of a regular and will be back for Christmas holidays for 4 weeks aswell!

15.01.2022 Sunny the sun conure & Cheeky the green cheek conure have been staying with us the last 3 weeks and head home this evening. We've had a great time with them here with us.

15.01.2022 Floyd has been back with us again, enjoying a two week holiday. Going to miss him as usual when he goes home this afternoon. He's a funny little character!

14.01.2022 Baby Cockatiels all grown up at 12weeks old today! Slushie (Front) went to his new home today, he has joined extended family of Sunny the Cockatiel that stayed with us last year =)

11.01.2022 Gorgeous Boy Floyd the Quaker arrived last week with his pals Kattan the Cinnamon Pied & Bobby the Pearl Cockatiels for a 2 week holiday. Floyd is just adorable, such a cuddly little character!

07.01.2022 This is Sammy who is currently enjoying a 6 week holiday with us while his owners are holidaying overseas! Such a funny boy, loves playing soccer with himself, whistling & growling at you lol

07.01.2022 This is Ernie who has just arrived this afternoon for a 3 week stay while his owners are holidaying in Bali! Ernie stayed with us last year for just over a week, he is such a character! It's nice to have regular customers coming back who are happy with their birds stay with us. =)

04.01.2022 only a fellow bird enthusiast can understand how beautiful, intelligent and amazing these creatures are - I just wouldn't be me without them.. and I wouldn't give them up for anyone,. this old girl here has a birthday this week - she is turning 17!! Chucky was the first baby bird bred in my first aviary when I was 12 - shes outlived most including her partner of 12yrs who passed 4 yrs ago and became a great great grandma in the aviary recently.. not sure how much longer she has but she is still gorgeous.

04.01.2022 Meet Tick & Tack the Fischer Lovebirds who are staying with us at the moment. They are here for a 4 month holiday until start of September. They are very cute!

01.01.2022 Buddy & Leo the Galahs have gone home and their lovely owners left me with a nice box of Roses chocolates & a bottle of wine to say thank you! Not sure how long these will last hehe.

01.01.2022 Ernie got busted the other day - while I went outside he thought he would happily help himself to his bag of peanuts I left on the chair.. lesson learned lol.. lucky he only got to one as that's all he's allowed to have per day! Ernie is such a loving intelligent boy, I must admit I get a little attached to him. He says give us a kiss and puts his beak out for a kiss with a big mwuah as u kiss him haha. he has a huge vocabulary & his favourite phrase is ; aussie aussie aussie, oi oi oi! and he loves pretending to be a magpie and a crow. Will miss him once he goes home Saturday.
