18.01.2022 Congrats to Megan and her beautiful female Blue and Gold Macaw Opal that I raised here .. She finally took her first big free flight today .. A bit of heart in mouth stuff at times .. but her hard work had paid off I love when the birds go to such loving and dedicated families.

16.01.2022 What a day for Tara .. She managed to escape from her new owners cage this morning in Melbourne and went missing ... She had only been with them for a week .. She was located 11 hrs later at the top of a large pine tree less than a kilometer from home.. She immediately flew down when called and landed on her owners arm .. This demonstrates the importance of having young birds being brought up in large outside aviaries where they can become confident in flying, outside environments and also in themselves..

15.01.2022 Greenwing macaws .. 20 days , 53 days and 83 days .. Such exquisite birds ..

14.01.2022 DNA results are back ...We have a boy and a girl .. 33 days and 28 days ..( female is the older of the 2). Also 2 more babies with the oldest being 3 days and the next at 1 day .. with another egg starting to pip shell

13.01.2022 Finally .. Pippa had her puppies at 4am this morning .. Only a small litter of 3 . Mum and pups doing well .. 1 boy and 2 girls .
