She has overcome so many challenges in her life - family violence, sexual abuse, mental illness, homelessness, and substance abuse. Now she is a university graduate, has published articles around social issues in major Australian news channels, is working with the University of Melbourne to produce educational resources to better assist young people like her. And most proudly, she has just joined t...he Board of YSAS. Tara says, "I now have the opportunity to directly help young women and girls - and that feels really amazing."
