25.01.2022 Mushroom Cauliflower Rice Risotto 400gm sliced white mushrooms 250gm frozen cauliflower rice 1 x small onion ... 1 x chicken stock cube 15gm grated Parmesan 1 x tblsp minced Garlic 1 x tsp garlic granules salt and pepper to taste 1 x tblsp mixed dried herbs METHOD Heat a non stick frying pan Add garlic granules and sliced mushrooms, and sauté for around 5 minutes. Remove mushrooms and set aside. Add sliced onions and minced garlic into the left over juices for another 5 minutes or until translucent. Once chicken cube is dissolved in hot water add that to the mixture and bring to a slight boil. Return mushrooms to the pan with onions, and reduce heat. Add cauliflowe rice, dried herbs, salt and pepper and let simmer for 8-10 minutes. Remove from heat, spoon into a bowl and sprinkle shaved Parmesan on top. Serves 1 (big ) Calories : 338 Carbs : 27.3 gm Fat : 7.9 gm Protein : 21.2 gm You can also add Chicken breast to boost Protein for the day. If you want to add a splash of olive oil to your cooking add it to your plan but to keep things low fat, olive oil isn’t a necessity if you make this please tag Me in your Pics

13.01.2022 Food for thought : I used to avoid oats for breakfast. I assumed it was too many carbs and not a great choice If I was watching my waist I would go with something I deemed lighter - a latte and a bliss ball - thinking this was smart and small. The bliss ball and the latte definitely DID NOT keep me full for very long nor did it nourish my body as well as the oats do. Unlike when I fill up on oats, the bliss ball was finished within about 15 seconds and left me hungry abou...t an hour later. As for watching my waist check out the calorie comparison : (Keep in mind this is one of the cleaner bliss balls - others masquerade as healthy but are Full of sugar and WAY more Calories) 40gm of oats with cashew milk, chia seeds and honey Calories : 200 Carb : 27.2 Fat : 6.1 Protein : 6.3 Bliss ball and skim flat white Calories : 262 Carb : 40 Fat : 7 Protein : 11.7
