04.01.2022 This seems to have gone from the closed page so I’ll put it here. Hi Everyone. I was just down at Belongil beach and notice a pallet had been washed up on the shore. It is covered with the most amazing Molluscs , they get right out of their shells and are quite fascinating. I know some of the children are really interested in this kind of thing so if you happen to be in the neighbourhood go have a look . If you enter the beach st the cafe entrance and head north, it’s only about 50-100m. Not sure how long it will last. Molluscs are soft bodied creatures , usually but not always aquatic, usually but not always have a shell. They are extraordinary animals . This group includes the Octopus .
