25.01.2022 Was just sitting today and wondering if I could turn back time in business, where would I turn it back to?? Before the bushfires late last year? Before this current COVID19 event? They each sound enticing ..... but no, I would just humbly turn back to before Wednesday this week. Happy to jump all these massive business hurdles along with everyone else, but doing so this week with no phone line (thus no internet, eftpos, phones) is just so frustrating. ** PLEASE BEAR WITH US GUESTS - EMAILING US AT PRESENT IS THE BEST OPTION - HOPING TO BE BACK ON THE PHONE LINES SOON **

23.01.2022 Bushfires & COVID! It takes special qualities within someone to lead a business strongly through a year such as 2020, and our bright & bubbly Property Manager Jess, has done just that! Jess has a beautiful & special quality, its inspiring to watch, but she has this ability in crisis to think imaginatively, a bit like shaking a kaleidoscope and finding new possibilities out of existing fragments. Any of our guests that have been hosted by Jess - I am sure you will agree - she ...brings a little magic to every guest encounter She loves rainbow flavoured icecream ; The Golden Girls is her most watched tv series ; she runs at the sight of a spider ; but she just LOVES above all being hospitable! When asked what she loves most about hosting our guest's stays, Jess said 'Everything! From the enquiries, to phone calls to then welcoming our guests to the property. I love it all! I just really love being a part of our guest's experiences'. And a few precious words from the bride... - like music to our ears ...... "Wow! What an amazing place. We contacted Jess (the manager) months and months ago about booking our multiple cabins for a family getaway. Jess was so friendly, helpful, and professional from the get go. She was so happy to accommodate us all. Jess was also so kind enough to let us have our wedding ceremony on the property (a small elopement), she was so excited and wonderful about letting us do this! She even came in on her day off to ensure things were running smoothly. Our family booked out the 5 bedroom cottage, and all four possums cabins. They were all just so beautiful! The rooms were so beautiful, clean, romantic, and comfortable. We all had such an amazing time. The kids (and adults) loved all the things the property had to offer, from the tennis courts, games room, fire pit, swimming pool, etc. We all had such a beautiful week and it certainly wouldn't have been so without Jess. Jess was so knowledgeable about the area, providing us with beautiful lookouts, hikes, restaurants, cafes, etc. and she was so friendly and helpful. 13.01.2022 Thank you to our recent guest Nicky for your very encouraging words ..... music to our ears. "We recently stayed at Federation Gardens & Possums Hideaway and can not recommend them highly enough. Our stay was for celebrating my husbands 50th Birthday with his extended family (19 of us in total) and it was everything and more than we expected. The accommodation out did itself. The Cottage is deceptively large with so much room. Comfortable bedrooms, a great kitchen and breakfa...st nook and fireplace. We also used the facilities of 1 of the Linden Cottages and 1 of the Pine cottages. They too were filled with ample space and gorgeous ambience. We used all the facilities on offer. The outdoor kitchen was great. The games room was a hit. Tennis, Volleyball and soccer were all done in the grounds. The pool much needed, and put to great use, especially after doing a bush walk from the property to the Grand Canyon walking Track. (Not for the feint hearted, but spectacular). We cant wait to return in the cooler months to experience all that is on offer in a different climate. Jess was so lovely on our arrival and departure. Full of helpful tips and a welcome smile. Thank you Federation Gardens for helping to make my Husbands 50th Birthday everything that he hoped for and one that none of us will ever forget. We will be back!"

09.01.2022 Its difficult to know what to post at times like these - when news all about us, rightly so, is bushfire related. We are incredibly grateful for the firefighting efforts in varying locations around the state, but in particular our beloved Blue Mountains. We give thanks and praise for the education & informative information provided us by our local fire station as we ask. Its comforting to have that knowledge. The term shared responsibility comes into play at times such as t...hese, so preparedness therefore is not solely the role of emergency services - but a role for us all. We take our preparedness and guest safety very seriously. Whilst we have not been directly under threat, some days we wake to beautiful blue skies, other days we wake to smoke haze. And I think anyone would agree, the smoke haze days, no matter where you reside, serve as a visual reminder of all that is going on around the state - and bring us to a posture of gratefulness for all those working tirelessly for our safety.
