23.01.2022 With the border restrictions being eased from midnight tonight we can finally welcome our Victorian customers back! We can not wait to see you all again. Opening Hours... Monday - Saturday 10am - 3am Sunday 10am - 12am Bistro is open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week

23.01.2022 We are gearing up for a busy weekend at the Fed! We have had lots of calls and messages about the situation. We are not taking any bookings for the bistro or bar.... COVID restrictions that were in place before still apply. You will have to provide your name and phone number on entry for contact tracing. We still have limited numbers allowed into the venue. Social distancing is vital, please adhere to the 1.5m rule at all times. You must remain seated at all times unless you are moving through the venue or using our facilities such as ATM, bar, bistro or bathrooms. Most importantly, If you are feeling unwell or showing any signs of sickness please do not enter.

23.01.2022 Don’t forget to head across the river, and support our NSW venues who are hurting from current border restrictions. As a border bubble resident, all you need... to do is show your license. 22.01.2022 We have received lots of messages and calls about the easing of restrictions in Victoria. Currently the only reasons Victorians can cross the border are: - to get necessary goods or services - for care or other compassionate reasons... - to attend work or education (where it is not possible to do from home) - to permanently relocate to NSW. Until "Leisure" is added to this list it means that Victorians are still not permitted to come to the Fed. We hope this changes soon and will keep you updated and hope to see you soon when the border restrictions are changed.

18.01.2022 The Fed is still open for business as usual 7 days a week! If you live in the green VIC border zone you can visit the Fed or anywhere else in the NSW blue zone and get back into Victoria by showing your drivers license at the checkpoint without needing any permit. 16.01.2022 Our bistro is booked out for evening meals this weekend but we have received lots of calls asking if people can come in have a drink. Yes anyone is welcome to come in for a drink but we have restrictions on numbers and how many people per area of the hotel. You must stay seated if drinking and abide by all the restrictions and rules that NSW Health have put in place.... Hope to see you all soon!

14.01.2022 Great News...our bistro is now open for dinner Wednesday- Sunday from 6 pm - 9 pm. Call us on 03 50321 238 to book a table! This is in addition to the great news yesterday of the relaxing of the NSW/ VIC border restrictions. We cannot wait to welcome all our Victorian friends back again once the Stage 3 restrictions in regional Victoria have relaxed also.

12.01.2022 We have some good news! With some of the Covid restrictions easing in NSW things are slowly getting back to normal for the Fed. YOU MUST STILL BE SEATED WHEN DRINKING OR EATING INDOORS but in the outdoor areas you are free to stand and drink.... So we thought what better way to celebrate than something a bit different....Darcy Rovere will be on the decks on the back stage from 9:30pm tonight! Our capacity is increased so there will be no more waiting in line to get in. Dancing is allowed so get to the Fed for some good tunes and a bit of freedom from 9:30 onwards.

07.01.2022 Hey there Swan Hill, Yes, we are open, however as a result of the tightening of the New South Wales border crossing today we are only able to open our doors to residents of New South Wales. Please have your licence or another valid for of ID (displaying a NSW postcode) ready on arrival into the venue as our friendly staff will be checking these. Victorian residents attempting to enter the venue are at risk of hefty infringement penalties for entering the state without a valid permit. Stay safe and don't forget to wash your hands, Management and staff at the Federal Hotel
