13.01.2022 Australia Day - 26th of January is a challenging day for many people; and its a day of celebration for many people too. For the country, they love and have comm...itted to being a positive part of. For me, Australia Day is a day I remember the nation I have been born into, for all its strengths, weaknesses and faults. Modern Australia is an amazing country to live in. But for those who find Australia Day a difficult day. Not all but many of our indigenous mob find the 26th of January to be a day of loss and grief. I can't pretend to know what it's like to walk in their shoes. I have tried, and I have been blessed by the conversations I have had with indigenous friends and students along the way. But I can't possibly know what that journey is really like. All I can do is be an advocate for those who find the 26th of January a day of pain. I would like to see our governments, churches and other community groups work together to make Australia Day like Anzac Day. I see no value in changing the date, rather I think it would be quite profound to begin the day at dawn with memorial services all over the country for those lives lost, for people whose culture has been destroyed and for the atrocities committed. Then for the rest of the day to be one of celebration of who we are now, after recognising from where we have come. If anyone out there is connected to people of influence, bring this up in conversation with them. Let's lobby our leaders to make this happen. It's not my idea, but it's an idea whose time has come!

09.01.2022 Today we released a policy in partnership with the Minor Parties Council for the ACT election. You can read about it in the Canberra times article below. As a party, we believe in bringing people together to get quality outcomes rather than driving people apart. This announcement is a good example of how parties can work together rather than just in opposition to each other. https://www.canberratimes.com.au//a-group-of-act-indepen/

09.01.2022 We are the news again today, our bumper sticker is making quite a splash. (CityNews 16/9/2020) "The major parties don’t speak for me’ bumper sticker What makes it worth saving? Its sentiment will never go out of fashion.... The Federation Party has gone with a slogan for its bumper sticker that will resonate with voters from election to election. Despite the best efforts of the major political parties, they fail to capture everyone’s hearts and minds at election time. This is one piece of election swag that could be dusted off and used again in the future." https://citynews.com.au//campaign-swag-that-sets-clever-c/

06.01.2022 This Message is so pertinent to Australian Politics today, as both Major Coalitions, Labor/Green & Liberal/National are committed to the few international controlling organisations that Reagan referred to as the Elites in 1964.
