20.01.2022 Daughters of the West is back for 2020! This year the program will be delivered online, but don't worry, it will be just as fun! About this Wow, what a year 2020 has been so far. We hope everyone is well and keeping safe throughout a challenging time.... The Western Bulldogs Community Foundation and our program partners have some exciting news! The Daughters of the West program is back for 2020 but this year we are going online. This year, the program will look a little different due to the COVID-19 restrictions. We know this year has been hard for everyone, this year only, we are welcoming back previous DOTW participants as well as new participants. Don’t worry, all the good things including the chance to meet other women in your community, wonderful speakers, loads of health information and guidance for your physical activity will still be there. The program will be hosted ONLINE via weekly Zoom sessions on Tuesdays and Wednesdays starting October 6th/7th 2020. The program will be 8 weeks long. You just need to click a link and you'll be there each week! You can register here for either the: TUESDAY MORNING session from 10am-11:30am TUESDAY EVENING session from 7:30pm-9pm WEDNESDAY EVENING session from 7:30pm-9pm Each session will involve hearing from an engaging guest speaker, who will present to us through Zoom. After we hear from a guest, we will be placed into a session with other women from our local area. This will give us a chance to chat about the session and of course time for a social catch up! The sessions will be interactive. Which means you'll get a chance to ask questions and chat to other women. Throughout the online program there will also be information about how to keep physically active, chances to win prizes and reconnect and meet new women in your area. We know that the past few months have been hard, and we are excited to be able to unite the community again through Daughters of the West online with help from our program partners Brimbank City Council, City of Ballarat, Sports Central, Hobsons Bay City Council, Melton City Council, Maribyrnong City Council and Wyndham City Council!
