22.01.2022 Big day on the chook tractor! The Girls will be taking up residence tomorrow #feedfarm #chickentractor #urbanfarming #permaculture

16.01.2022 After a big 2 days (in the pouring rain ) Chooktopia is done and the Girls have moved in. Today we planted 12 trees in the Berry Patch as well: blackberries, raspberries and blueberries ~ YUM!! Next is cutting down the gums and oaks a previous owner planted right where our citrus grove is going.

13.01.2022 Aaaand we have lift off on the chook tractor!! Hopefully the Girls like it and get themselves nice and fat on grass and grubs, while they clear the land for our Food Forrest. They'll just be spending the weekends out here for now, coming home to free range our backyard like usual during the week. As we move the chook tractor around, we'll be back planting with green manure crops and mulching with woodchips ?? #urbanfarming #feedfarm #canberra #chickentractor #permaculture
