24.01.2022 I’m going to go against all of the other fitness pages that I follow! It’s Easter tomorrow- you are most likely going to get some chocolate Easter eggs. EAT THEM AND ENJOY EVERY MOUTHFUL!!! ... And don’t punish yourself for eating them- if you want to do some exercise, then do it because you WANT to, not because you feel guilty! One day of eating some chocolate isn’t going to hurt you! Life is for living and enjoying yourself, so relax and have a great Easter! EB xoxo

23.01.2022 This took me a long time to understand and I have had to almost relearn it over the past few months as I get used to taking care of a newborn again! I believe we are much better mums when we also take good care of ourselves. (Emotionally and physically) No one can give 100% all the time. It’s impossible! Nowadays, as mums, we are trying to do it all- be a perfect mum, work, be a good friend, wife, sister, daughter and we take care of everyone around us. But often this is at... the expense of ourselves. I know my tendency is to put myself last and just make sure everyone else is happy and I have to consciously do things to make sure I am ok too. I encourage you to regularly take some time out for YOU. Do something you love- whether that’s exercising, going shopping, meeting a friend, whatever! For me, just going for a walk for an hour is enough to fill up my tank and I come back feeling refreshed and ready to tackle whatever is thrown at me! Exercising is my way of feeling good and taking care of myself - it is my me time. I feel stronger, happier, less stressed and have more patience with my kids when I have had this time to myself. (As well as all the other benefits that come with exercising!) What do you do to take care of YOU? EB xxx

13.01.2022 School holidays means working out with kids! (And dogs!!!!) Ha Ha!

05.01.2022 Feeling pretty proud of myself today! 3 1/2 months after having Orly I can finally do rollouts again! About 6 weeks ago, I tried and couldn’t even go half way down without feeling like my abs were going to rip open. I’ve been taking things pretty slowly and doing mainly 2 strength sessions a week, light core work every second day and walking most days but the main things has been focusing on pulling my belly button into my spine ALL the time- when sitting, standing, walking..., driving and especially when I am carrying Orlando in the baby carrier. I am very aware of my injured back and am trying hard to strengthen my core again without flaring it up. I’d given myself a goal of being able to do 3 rollouts by end May and today I did 6 lots of 3 of them! Goal smashed!!! Next goal is to be able to do 12 in a row and then to get up on to my toes! What are your fitness and health goals? ***please get checked by a women’s health physio before you do anything like this if you have recently had a baby ***

03.01.2022 This sums up my view on health and fitness! For me, the main thing is not how I look but how I FEEL. When I eat well and exercise, I feel amazing and yes it’s nice to have a flat tummy and to be toned but that is not my main motivation. I see all these insta celebrities posting pics of their toned bodies and promoting shakes or caffeine drinks or fad diets and I always think that this is totally the opposite of what I believe in- you will never see me drinking a meal replac...ement shake or trying a crazy diet- I believe in good, healthy food and a balanced lifestyle and not depriving myself of certain food groups. You have to enjoy your life and feel good!! EB xxx See more
