23.01.2022 Throwback to Golden Boy’s very first shift as a therapy dog in Laura’s psychotherapy practice. While he did little more than say hi and sleep on the floor, he was already helping clients feel safe and grounded, and he has been doing this important work ever since!

16.01.2022 This week we received a very special request - to help the ICU nurses at our local hospital to cope with the stress, fear and helplessness they are faced with as they fight to save the lives of COVID-19 patients. World wide there are essential medical staff fighting the same battle every day so we have made this free material publicly available (and we will continue to add more). 10.01.2022 Transitioning into the weekend with some Friday afternoon mindfulness in the gardens. After some psycho-education on how to better support themselves in order to continue to help others, this team of welfare workers enjoyed some Feels Good meditation in the sun.

08.01.2022 In the midst of fear and uncertainty I ground myself on my walks by stopping and smelling every rose I see. Some are so fragrant and beautiful they bring me to complete presence in the moment, closely followed by a vivid memory of my grandmother in her garden. In these moments of presence I feel myself relax and I know my brain reduces the levels of stress chemicals it is releasing. How are you stopping to smell the roses and becoming present?

08.01.2022 Not just yesterday, but everyday. We are passionate about mental health awareness and support. If you notice that someone seems different or down, it never hurts to ask "are you ok?" At worst, it lets them know you care. At best, it could safe a life. @lifelineaustralia

06.01.2022 There is no one way we need to be or feel. Allowing yourself to be just as you are is an art, and an act of self-love and compassion. So how can you allow yourself to just be today?

02.01.2022 Today is World Mental Health Day!

01.01.2022 Taking a deep breath sends a message to our central nervous system that we are safe. When we breathe deeply, our brain releases fewer stress chemicals and we can stay within the healthy stress range, meaning we can perform better, for longer.
