Please email us instead and we will call you back. Thanks for your patience.

22.01.2022 Severs disease or Calcaneal Apophysitis is the most common cause of heel pain for kids between 7 and 14 years old. This is the result of overuse and repetitive stress being placed on the growth plate of the Calcaneus (heel bone). If your kids are experiencing this, we suggest visiting your Podiatrist, who can assess the feet and make any necessary recommendations.

22.01.2022 Foot pain? See your Podiatrist!

18.01.2022 Happy New Year everyone! Your favourite podiatrists are back on deck as of Monday 7 January 2019. In the meantime, consider just how far your feet carry you in life. You’ll likely walk/jog/run millions of kilometres during your lifetime! As we all grow older, the bottom of your feet can lose the soft tissue fat and skin elasticity, making it thin and vulnerable to injury. You can develop bone deformities such as bunions or arthritis. Nails can become more brittle, thicker a...nd harder, making it more difficult for you to trim and increasing the risk of ingrown toenails and fungal infection. Your feet can mirror your health warning signs can be dry skin, brittle nails, burning or tingling sensations or numbness. If these occur, call our clinic on 07 3162 0271 to arrange an appointment with on of our friendly and fully accredited podiatrists. Your feet will love you for it!

17.01.2022 If youre having any issues with ingrown toenails, bunions, nail or skin infections, or foot pain in general, then call us to make an appointment with one of our fully qualified and friendly podiatrists who will be able to assist you. In the meantime: Tips for when youre buying new shoes - The heel of your shoe shouldnt be any higher than 2.5cm. Anything above that adds extra pressure to the balls of your feet.... - To reduce the risk of fungal infection, shoes should be made from material that breathes. - A cushioned insole will help to absorb shock and reduce pressure on your feet. - Your shoes should fit your feet securely. If your feet have to do all the work to hold onto your shoe and keep it in place, (Im looking at YOU ballet flats!), then youre likely to develop strained foot muscles and cramps. - Pointy shoes should be avoided as regular wearing of this style can result in an increased risk of developing bunions and/or claw toes. Your shoes should fit properly, support the kind of activity youre engaging in and should not hurt your feet when wearing them.
