22.01.2022 From the National Meet Page A message to all entrants of the 18th FE FC Holden Nationals. The 18th FE FC Holden Nationals Committee has decided to cancel the ev...ent entirely. While initially there was some hope of re-scheduling the event to 2021, the future is just not clear enough to reasonably commit to holding the event. Planning for our 2020 event started back in 2016 and now, having been forced to cancel by our Government as a result of COVID-19, we no longer have any certainty that our event locations and accommodations will either be available or even in business in 2021. Our biggest concern however, is for the health and well-being of our entrants. It appears the only way we can be certain of being COVID-19 free in the long term is by the development and distribution of a vaccine. This appears to be some time off yet, perhaps 12 months or more, which could again force a cancellation of a 2021 event. We realise this is a disappointing outcome for all entrants and for the members of the Victorian FE FC Holden Car Club and certainly not what any of us wished or ever for. We do however look forward to the impending announcement by the FE FC Holden Car Club of NSW regarding the 19th Nationals in 2020.

19.01.2022 Hello Members, Wishing you, your families and friends a Happy and safe Easter. Kind Regards... Sebastiano Rafala President See more

19.01.2022 Hello Members and Guests, You would of all have guessed that this was inevitable. As President of your Club I have no choice in making the following decision as the health and well being of every individual is of paramount importance.... Given the current situation with the Covid-19 virus shutting down Australia, its in the best interests of our Members, family and friends that until further notice all Club activities are put on hold. This means no club meetings, social get together s, cruising or events. I trust that we all do the right thing and practice social distancing, however it doesn't mean to disconnect from each other. There are many ways we can interact using social media, Face book, Messenger, the FE FC Holden Discussion Forum, Email and the good ole fashion phone. My employer has asked me to take annual leave at first, as I'm in the high risk group due to various medical conditions, past and present. Even though I'm healthy and young, I will be self isolating with my family to reduce the risk of falling ill. Please, lets all stay at home and only venture out for buying basic necessities such as food and if youre lucky enough, essential employment. Let us all do our bit to stop this disease from spreading. A short time sacrifice is better than being a long time dead! Take care and look out for each other. Hope to see you all again by Christmas. Kind Regards Sebastiano Rafala President

16.01.2022 Its with a heavy heart that I inform our community of the passing of Chris Dagg. Chris was a long term member from Bridgetown and more recently Augusta in the South West. Chris had travelled extensively throughout Australia in his red and white FC sedan and matching vintage Valiant caravan with Lorraine for a couple of years. A great character and friend to many...always up for a chat and a beer Condolences to Lorraine and Daggsys families... RIP CHRIS See more

13.01.2022 Major news for classic car owners in WA! Starting early next year, West Aussies with a classic vehicle will receive a 75% discount on their annual licensing fee...s. Our Concessions for Classics scheme will slash red tape for car and motorcycle enthusiasts with a street rod or a vehicle manufactured before 1990 and who are a member of a Department of Transport approved club. The scheme will ensure even more vintage car lovers can hit the road with their street rod for 90 days of the year. The Concessions for Classics scheme is the result of months of consultation with the motoring community, and our Government will continue to work alongside them to implement to scheme.

12.01.2022 A story from another page that I thought people might be interested in. The old Eyre Highway days in the 60's really did incur some strange happenings and surprise events that could often never be anticipated. Considering the fact that back then with the daily vehicle total on the road generally being down to perhaps a handful of vehicles every hour or two and almost none after 10:00 o'clock at night,..this photo depicts one of the most unlikely events that you could imagi...Continue reading

09.01.2022 Good news Friday! Final approval from the DOT this morning, we are GO! If you want to cruise your blown burnout car, supercharged street car, turbo track car or... wild rat rod along this exact bit of coastline as well as roughly 55kms of cruise route to Mandurah and back this is the event for you! Cant thank the Department of Transport and Senior Sergeant Neville Beard of the Rockingham Police enough for this opportunity. PM the page for a Permit Application and a copy of the scrutineering regs, we will have details later today of where to submit them. Registered chrome bumpers are also more than welcome as well.
