24.01.2022 Very nice. Continuum has an interesting approach. This is a person who is already free in their ribcage and spine. If you go slowly wiht this and listen deeply within, to how those places that surround the invisible areas relate to them, and to the whole, you may find some of that freedom.

23.01.2022 Beautiful functional movement. Some inspiration!

23.01.2022 Rare footage of Frédéric Joliot-Curie and Moshe Feldenkrais practice Judo in Paris, 1937. Sequence from the film by Jacques-Bernard Brunius "The Violin d'Ingre"

21.01.2022 This is a talk I gave on differences between the Feldenkrais Method and Alexander Technique for a wonderful Online Summit - The Move Better Feel Better Feldenkrais Awareness Summit. It's a question I am frequently asked about. Hope you find this useful

21.01.2022 Hello all, Classes begin again at 9.30am this Thursday at Avalon Recreation Centre. We'll be exploring the connection of the limbs to our head, neck and torso. I also have some lovely new rollers for our first lesson. We'll use them to feel the way our skeleton is suspended in it's web of muscle and fascia. You'll feel lovely walking around afterwards.

21.01.2022 A little explanation. Very nice. Thanks for sharing Deborah.

20.01.2022 This week weeks classes explore how we developed limbs. How we moved from being a creature with fins and gills to one who could exist on land. What is the experience of a fish or lizard? Until the advent of agriculture, questions such as this have been vital for our very survival. Perhaps they still are ..

19.01.2022 His is a remarkable story. It's worth reading "The Brains way of healing" for those two Feldenkrais chapters. It's so useful to work with our eyes. Slowly! They are a deep well. The journey continues this Thursday!

18.01.2022 Group classes in Avalon are now taking place online. It works surprisingly well. Thursday morning at 9.30am. Tuesday afternoon at 4.30pm. Just go to my website if you'd like to book in.

17.01.2022 Interesting graphic of walking with muscular connection of legs to pelvis in here. Have a look and consider the organisation of your own legs, pelvis and back relative to your senses

16.01.2022 This Thursday's class is the last for this term and it's a beauty. So simple yet makes such a difference. Upstairs at Avalon Recreation Centre at 9.30am Thursday - Details within!

12.01.2022 I'll be speaking on Monday the 19th of October at 6.00pm (Sydney time). My session will be experiential and is called 'Body of the tongue - Perception, projection, presence and the mystery of speech'. 260,000 people have registered so far! It's free to attend. There are so many amazing people speaking. Check it out! https://theembodimentconference.org/#DavidHall

12.01.2022 This is brilliant! Just love the breadth of what it touches upon. Marcela Bretschneider is a Feldenkrais Practitioner and film maker from Argentina. Just heard her speaking on a panel with Candy Conino and Lavinia Plonka for the online Feldenkrais summit's day 4 physical challenges theme. Fabulous. The summit is well worth a visit. It's free but you can also buy a pass that enables you to save the sessions for later study. I'm speaking on Thursday on differences between the Alexander Technique and Feldenkrais Method. Here is the link if you want to check it out - https://salsadavid--futurelifenow.thrivecart.com/2020-feld/

10.01.2022 A very well organised head and neck!

08.01.2022 This video contains images and GIFs that illustrate concepts I explored in two online lessons I did in May 2020. Those lessons are about FM Alexander's concept of Primary Control but the structures I speak of will be useful to see for all of the online lessons on my website. I'm doing two online group classes at the moment. One is on Tuesday 4.30pm Sydney time. That's 7.30am in London and 12.00 in Mumbai. The other one is on Thursday at 9.30am. That's Wednesday around 7.30pm in the Americas. There is a sliding scale from Free to $10 or $20 depending on your circumstances. My website will give you the specific time of the classes in your time zone. www.bodylogic.net.au

06.01.2022 Hello all, Classes resume on Thursday morning at 9.30am. More detailed post to follow!

06.01.2022 Hello all, We begin tomorrow morning. This talks about the theme. I think you'll enjoy it

06.01.2022 Hello all, See you soon!

06.01.2022 This is my presentation for last year's Embodiment Conference. It explores the reciprocal relationeship of tongue with both our gut and the structures of communication. How do these relationships influence the way we navigate our world? It's a lecture followed by a movement exploration. What happens when you move the sixteen muscles of the tongue slowly? .. mindful of the tongue and nose as the sensory organs of the gut and of the tongues responses to our inner commentary? Many things! It certainly creates calm and adds a new dimension to the way we sense our world. I hope you find it useful.

05.01.2022 Hello all, This is a podcast I did for the extremely thoughtful and talented surf/movement coach, Mike Frampton. It's about how the work can be used by surfers but may be of interest to anyone with a skill they want to improve. It finishes with a sitting lesson. Hope you enjoy it. http://surfmastery.com/podcast/2018/10/16/035-david-hall

05.01.2022 Hello all, We'll be exploring the connection of our legs to our diaphragm via the pelvis on Thursday. It's so beautiful when you feel the width of your legs and how they connect into the whole dome of your diaphragm. Such a nice experience of grounded strength and springiness. Can you feel it in this birds wings? 9.30am at Avalon Recreation Centre This Thursday

05.01.2022 So this is Marcela's film alluded to in the post below

--- Venez tester Feldenkrais www.attitudeposturale.com 2018 Diana Noailly

02.01.2022 Lovely visualisation. Mind you it shows a person breathing as if they have just stopped running.

02.01.2022 Poise! Primary control, counter-balance, gravity and momentum. The joy of partnership!

02.01.2022 This man was the subject of the second Feldenkrais chapter in Norman Doidge's, 'The Brain that heals itself' It's a remarkable story and the book is really worth reading.

02.01.2022 Our skull is extroadinary
