20.01.2022 Have had so many incredible and beautiful messages having lost David, he was and is the centre of our world. Depression is frightening, he hid the pressure and I will forever be guilty of not seeing the signs. I’m painting bright happy colours this entire year in honour of the real David McCreadie. We miss him so very very much. Thank you all for your care and kindness he loved my art, loved he was married to an artist, so every piece has part of that.
20.01.2022 So long since I posted. I will be painting again. I lost the absolute soulmate love of my life to suicide in the early hours of the Friday morning 16 October 2020. David was my husband, my best friend, a father to four beautiful boys. He was kind, generous, funny, loving and yes he was so happy. We shared 15 years together and they will be the best years of my life. He died because he was honest, real and wore his heart on his sleeve, he was proud and a magnificent builder but the last few clients demoralised him. Thirty years of building beautiful homes, many clients two or three for them. He is gone now, we are broken beyond words, especially our 12 year old son who loved his Dad, his and our lives have changed forever. A home is bricks and mortar, a life is irreplaceable.
