23.01.2022 Hank our first child together. Boy anyone who knows Hank knows hes a force and most people refer to him as a mini horse. We got Hank at a very hard time in my and our lives. I wasnt working due to illness, I was suffering from chronic fatigue syndrome. He was my company on the couch whilst I was at home and honestly couldnt much else. The first child always seems to be the most difficult and Hank is that, hes dominant, stubborn, needy, demanding and thinks he is a small l...ap dog. But for all the hard work hes loveable, sensitive, cuddly, protective and sweet. Our house and hearts are very full with our 2 Ridgies and 2 daughters.

21.01.2022 Photography trends? Oh yes absolutely. Like anything there are trends in photography too. They range from editing and composite styles, to colours, props, clothing, posing and so much more. As photographers are generally creatives and visual types, we are always looking for new inspiration, new ideas, new styles. Then like a cold it catches on and a new trend starts.... Over the last few years Ive noticed a shift from more is more and lots of colour to less is more and a lot more simple organic look. What do I do? I do what you want? I was asked if my style has changed recently and I said actually not but a lot of my clients have wanted clean, natural and simpler styling. Im here to make my clients vision, ideas and style come to life so it matches their personality. Although I fo set it all up and style it, its about meeting their needs not my artist needs. 20.01.2022 Meet my Sadie she was my first daughter and is a very protective sister to her human siblings. She is a Rhodesian Ridgeback and 6 years next month. Sadie took a long time to settle, she required a lot of care and special treatment due to developing anxiety. After a lot of hard work, training, medication, special vets she finally found her grove. She still has a little anxiety but we know how to manage her and she is the sweetest girl. My girls love her and we cant imagine our family without her.

Play therapy and distraction are so important, to make a childs experience in hospital that bit more comfortable. 05.01.2022 Hows that for a capture? I wont lie I do a bit of a happy dance when I capture an eye lock like this especially on a 10 week old bub. Want to know a secret? I had the wiggles playing on my phone mounted on a tripod right at my lens level. After numerous bribes and tactics to get the older sibling to play along, this is how I got her attention for the family shots and he was mesmerised by the colours. I have a full bag of tricks for playing with kids and getting their attent...ion for the camera. 03.01.2022 When you come for a newborn session you also get individual sibling portraits. Often when clients come for a newborn session and have other children, the siblings havent had photos since they were a newborn. So I like to make everyone feel very special and do individual sibling portraits in the session. This gorgeous girl wanted to dress up and we did 3 set-ups in 30 mins. From Elsa, to mermaid to traditional cultural attire and then sibling newborn portraits and family phot...ographs. The full complete gallery from the session is amazing and does feel like about 3 shoots in 1. However we managed to do it all in 3 hours and create a magical experience.
