25.01.2022 Barb's (aka my Mum) first group selfie. Once she figured out how to get in frame, she handled it like a millenial pro. We were at Haileybury's Mother's Day breakfast.

25.01.2022 Today I went to a different kind of networking event (for school captains, house captains and prefects) thanks to an invite from my old school. Whilst the principal welcomed us I whispered to my long time friend @gingerjonesmelbourne just as we used to in school assembly. Today however we were not reprimanded for our poor behaviour.

22.01.2022 I love the concept of starting over... of reinvention. I know so many women who have done this in recent years. This will be one of the topics we'll be discussing at my upcoming event... http://stks.be/a-real-conversation

16.01.2022 Recently I got to do something a little different (for me) and attend a WInter's Women's Circle hosted by @meljeffcott I really enjoyed the evening. There were lots of elements that got me thinking including the Rembrance card that I selected. And thanks @ginalft for the amazing guided meditation. @julesyparker (I didn't snap my own pics).

15.01.2022 Dreaming of quitting your job but not sure how to make it a reality? Or perhaps you'd just like to add more meaning to your work? 13.01.2022 I am delighted that Meraki Coaching will join us for "A Real conversation". Tanya went from a career in publishing to the life of a digital nomad. To learn more and purchase your ticket... http://stks.be/a-real-conversation More about Tanya Tanya is a life coach, writer and speaker who works with people who are tired of the status quo, and want to live an unconventional life. 11.01.2022 At my last On The Rise event (featuring Lou Spaghettini Naomi Morrow Mason Kerry Jeffery Katie Maynes Chloe Wigan Wendy Taylor) we raised funds in honour of the divine Clare Greig The money raised went to Kiva Of late I had received many emails from Kiva letting me know the bulk of the loan had been repaid. The money sat idle for a bit (#procrastination). ... I have now helped fund Zuhro (a single parent) to purchase cattle so she can start a new business. Having to reinvest the money was a bit of time (first to find my password and then to research) but it was a lovely opportunity for me to remember Clare.

08.01.2022 This popped up on Zara D'Cotta Insta stories and I snapped it because it was the reminder I needed. Maybe it might be what you need to today... // A Real Conversation - 25 Feb 9.30am The CoworkCo http://stks.be/a-real-conversation

08.01.2022 Prepped and ready to help a client uncover what suits them and how to make their best impression using colour.

02.01.2022 These are pics of me that I took about a year ago as I prepared for some job interviews. Just trying to figure out what the hell to wear... I find it easier to compare outfits by snapping myself and I can also be more objective. These were snapped just for me aka they were never planned to be shared (otherwise I might have posed a bit more ) - they were just on my phone with the other 1089 photos I have. I wanted to share them though as even at this stage in my life (when ...I have a reasonable wardrobe) I still find it tricky to work with what I have and decide what to wear for an interview. And I also well remember struggling to look professional for my first interviews when I had a limited budget. For my upcoming event - A real conversation, given we are talking about women and work I thought it only fitting to support Fitted for Work I have loved donating clothes to them and have a great appreciation for their work. If you are able - bring some former work clothes along to the event The CoworkCo and I will drop them off on our behalf. Joining the discussion will be Jade McKenzie Meraki Coaching Kate McCready Samantha Napier 776BC Buy your ticket here: http://stks.be/a-real-conversation

02.01.2022 So I told my six year old son about how his father and I met. Cue disbelieving laughter. His explanation: That’s ridiculous (he pronounces it incorrectly BTW which always makes me chuckle) Mum - you don’t go to the pub. I just stood there and spluttered. Here is what I should have said: I used to before you were born and might I remind you that I worked for a brewery for 12 years. PS divine flowers from @flowersvasette PPS they are not currently residing in my home.

02.01.2022 This card is winging its way to an event organiser I worked with. I loved speaking at a recent @cityofmooneevalley event on personal branding and networking to help young people get their professional start. I swear by handwritten notes as a way to acknowledge people and build relationships. Do you receive snail mail these days (of the non-bill variety)?

01.01.2022 If you need some down time (I am guessing that is you...), check out this intimate event. I know you will leave feeling restored and relaxed. I hope to be able to make it. Want to join?
