Here’s a few tips on choosing the right cleanser for your skin: - if you have sensitive, dry or dehydrated skin, a gentle gel, oil or cream-based cleanser is best. I recommend ASAP Gentle Cleansing Gel or Cosmedix Purity Solution Nourishing Cleansing Oil. ... - for acne prone skin, ASAP Daily Facial Cleanser is a goodie. 17.01.2022 You’ve got to try this!! @cosmedix_ Pure Enzymes polishes the skin with a combination of cranberry enzymes and lactic acid. It’s super plumping, hydrating and softening. I mix mine with a sprinkle of @cosmedix_ Pure C for a brightening boost.... To use: apply a small amount to clean skin, leave for 3-10 minutes. Rinse off with water. 06.01.2022 Maskne! Oh, it’s a real thing. Acne caused by masks is a form of Acne Mechanica, or skin irritation that is formed by excess pressure, heat and rubbing against the skin. How to avoid maskne?... 1. Where possible wear a cotton mask. Cotton is a bit more breathable and less likely to heat up as your temperature rises. 2. Wash your mask! Treat your mask like you treat your underwear, wash it everyday. 3. Stop wearing makeup. Makeup under masks is no good, everything gets sweaty and humid, it’s a recipe for disaster. 4. Adjust your skincare routine. Put those thick moisturisers away for now, try lightweight serums, especially during the day. A gentle exfoliating serum might be worth considering too. Something like @aspectskin Clear Skin Complex is great for calming and detoxifying the skin. 5. Stay healthy! Avoid sugar and processed foods, drink plenty of water and try to keep stress levels under control. If only we could buy stress relief in a jar, sigh.

06.01.2022 Ok, so I rarely get this excited about products, but this is MY NEW FAVORITE!! I, like most of you, am falling victim to maskne (acne caused by wearing a mask) and this product has saved me. I’ve only been using it a few days and my skin already feels less congested, less irritated, looks less blotchy and feels way smoother. @aspectskin Clear Skin Complex has Citric Acid in it to gently exfoliate your skin for a smoother texture and a clearer complexion (hence the name!). It... also has moisture binding ingredients to hydrate your skin but without feeling shiny or heavy on your skin. It’s got a beautiful texture, its a super active treatment gel that’s not quite a serum, but not quite a moisturiser. I recommend using it at night. My skin is a bit dry at times, so I apply my @aspectdrskin Resveratrol Moisturiser over it, but if you are more oily you could use it by itself, or even use the @aspectskin Hydrating Serum as a lighter moisturising option.
