22.01.2022 A refurbished vintage beaver fur fedora hat. Did you know fedora first worn by a woman on stage in a famous play Fedora, and the trilby comes from a stage adaptation as well of the novel Trilby? Both in the 1890's. I was hesitating whether is this a fedora or a trilby, what do you think? Has a greenish-brown colour that nobody would mix these days. Original leather sweat-band did not need to be changed as still in very good condition just as the hat. Once made in England. 19.01.2022 New mustard colourded porkpie style hat, made to copy an old, lost but beloved hat that I replicated from a photo. No hatblock were used and the wool hood is handmade.

10.01.2022 Once upon a time I made a headpiece as a part of a collectively made costume for a goddess of all wearable crafts and arts, where the treble clef portrayed that while women worked together they sang and told stories and so they had not only woven the rugs but the culture of their people as well, from the threads of lives that they spun out of the rays of Sun, Moon and the Stars. Their songs were the energy behind all creations. It resembled the high pointy headwear of the no...ble women throughout time and space in Asia, that even inspired the hennin in Europe of the renaissance princesses, and I gave it a little treble-clef-twist. The pattern around the crown symbolises men and women as they are the structure of societies, merged of the decoration of a 1000 year old Hungarian button and a 2500 year old Scythian tights. The woven ear-covers are the finely meshed structure of our societies where every one of us is the part of the whole. Above the crown there is the realm of gods: the Sun, the Moon and the Stars with the vortex energy that rises from the unity of creatures to keep creating. See more

09.01.2022 New additions to Instagram, you can read the details about each hat there. I am working on them since the pandemic started to kick in and we had to be careful with contacting, so our workshops were delayed. Still many more to come! Till then, in January, we will have Vacation-Workshops with children at the studio, making puppets, crowns and masks, bags and fairy-pods, and repeat the flower-making workshop that had to be cancelled due to many illnesses. 05.01.2022 A huge play-mat, over a metre long, made as a custom order with big caves for the wild creatures, small burrows for rabbits and foxes. Pasture for the farm animals or roaming the hills and get lost in the swamp on the other side of the wild river. I want to be a kid again.

05.01.2022 Little peep at the feltpiece i was working on last year. Technique is partly the old Scythian felt appliqué that we can see on their blankets; pattern is a combination of a 1000 year old Hungarian silver button and a 2500 years old Scythian felted tights. The rest is to be revealed later.

03.01.2022 My latest playmat in use, seems like these toys are just coming together so well! Absolutely accidental that the previous playmat were combined with these toys as well, like an army for a good play!!!! Love those little animals tho in the caves and burrows peeping out!
