Rachael Lia - 4:05pm Allara - 4:40pm Alice Skye - 5:20pm Yawulyu is a culturally safe place for First Nations women, girls, non-binary and trans people to explore live performance, with a focus on emerging artists. Yawulyu (also pronounced Walagee) is derived from the Walpiri language meaning womens ceremony, womens design, womens songs. We acknowledge this is Boonwurrung & Woiwurrung country and pay our respects to their elders & culture. We pledge to care for this country as it cares for us.

We have had a plethora of opportunities in various ranges of medi...a to get creative and learn new skills. An integral part of that was done through the community channel C31 Melbourne and Geelong. Young people were given a chance to produce, write, direct and shoot their own original Australian content. For us, handling cameras for the 1700 music show with SYN was so important in terms of showing us that we can get behind the cameras too!
