24.01.2022 Fill YOUR cup first What exactly does that mean? If you have ever looked into anything about your own well being, it is likely you have come across the term to fill your cup. ... This basically refers to the idea that as a human being our well being is a cup that is slowly emptied overtime and when it does get low we become tired, lethargic, moody and unmotivated - even more so at the moment right? So its important to replenish those stores of mental, emotional, and physical energy. It means that you need to stop and recharge your batteries. To find what fills up your cup the best you need to take some time for self reflection and think about what makes you feel good. So what are you doing today, to fill your cup?

22.01.2022 Keeping our mental health in check 1. Get dressed even if it is to your trackies and ugg boots 2. Do your hair/make up especially if this makes you feel good, it also brings us a sense of normality ... 3. Eat healthy NEW recipes! Adding a variety of recipes to our lives makes us feel like we are doing new things and helps with the repetitiveness 4. Get creative - try doing something new, a new hobby, a new craft. Order something online to give you something to look forward too. 5. Stay connected - SO important. Chat to your friends, to us, to anyone you feel comfortable too, but also reach out to people you wouldnt usually. 6. Get fresh air - Even when you dont feel like it, thats when you need it most! 7. Unplug - You cannot escape the virus/media when you are online. Allow yourself to switch off for a few hours a day to protect your energy 8. Reach out - Talk to your families, friends, to any support services available to us, your doctor. Dont feel ashamed if you need some extra support. 21.01.2022 Do you have an accountability partner? Having someone with goals that align with yours to help keep on track, and keep you company makes this journey so much more fun AND enjoyable! Things like setting mini goals each week, sharing each others recipes and meal prep ideas, going for walks, Zoom workouts.. The community we have at the Hub has definitely kept a lot of us going at the moment.. although we are hanging out to see you all again. What are you doing to help keep you accountable at the moment?

21.01.2022 Fruit is a great source of micronutrients, fibre, and carbohydrates to help fuel our sessions, not to mention our brain and other vital organs! Berries are in season at the moment, perfect on top of oats, in smoothies, or just a simple snack on their own!

17.01.2022 Now that we are getting some warmer weather here’s a smoothie recipe for you to enjoy xx GREEN HULK 1 scoop protein powder Handful spinach ... 1/2 cup coconut milk 1/2 banana 1/2 cup ice Blend and enjoy

16.01.2022 Colder Weather = Warmer Meals! This recipe for Zucchini Cannelloni is a real winter warmer, healthy & delicious! Ingredients: 5 large zucchinis, sliced thinly lengthways (use a mandolin if possible!)... 2 garlic cloves, crushed 500g light ricotta 100g feta 250g frozen spinach, thawed 1/2 tsp nutmeg 1/4 tsp chilli flakes 2.5 cups nap sauce 5 basil leaves + more to serve Salt and pepper to taste Olive oil - for cooking 4 tbsp parmesan cheese Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees celsius. In a large mixing bowl, add ricotta, spinach, feta, garlic, nutmeg, chilli, basil and a generous pinch of salt and pepper. Mix well. Lay one piece of the zucchini flat on the bench and place 1 tbsp of mixture at one end. Roll towards the other end, wrapping tightly. Toothpick shut. Lay the zucchini flat in a deep baking tray (zucchini end side down so it doesnt unravel) and repeat with the rest of the mixture. Pour Napoletana sauce over the top and sprinkle the parmesan. A lot of us are spending extra time on the couch, so dont forget to stand up, get moving, and train your back. Your posture and lower back will thank you for it! She is an inspiration to all of us with her dedication, motivation and the results she has achieved so far. Her commitment to her health and fitness has continued throughout lockdown and she has kept her training up throughout iso. She achieved outstanding results in our 6 week challenge, finishing up in the top four!! Sarah has such a friendly nature and is always one to encourage and uplift others! 08.01.2022 Have hungry kids at home? These Lamington Protein balls are not only healthy but delicious and easy to grab & go! Ingredients 1 cup instant oats... cup desiccated coconut 2 Tbsp cacao 1/3 cup vanilla flavoured protein powder 2 Tbsp coconut oil 2 Tbsp rice malt syrup 1/3 cup water 2 Tbsp strawberry jam (if you can get a low sugar option..get it!) cup extra desiccated coconut for rolling Method Combine the oats, coconut, cacao and protein powder in a bowl. Heat the coconut oil and rice malt syrup together in the microwave for 30 seconds, stir and add to the dry ingredients with the water. Roll a heaped teaspoon of the mixture into a ball. Create a deep hole in the centre with your thumb and drop a little jam inside. Press the edges together to seal, roll to reshape into a ball then coat in coconut. Repeat with remaining mixture. Store in the fridge. Perfect for an after dinner treat, post workout snack or that 3pm pick up! See more

02.01.2022 SO excited to kick off our very first Women's Circle This is an opportunity for women to come together, to connect, hold space for one another and to be seen and heard. A space where everyone is welcomed and honoured. Each session will have a Theme which relates to connection to self, healing, empowerment and growth.... Our first theme is self love. Many of us live busy lives, and we often forget to take time out for ourselves to reflect, and connect inwardly. Many of us understand the importance of self love and self care, but don’t know what self care looks like. The evening will include a sharing circle, a guided meditation, and light refreshments and snacks. 01.01.2022 Hi Ladies, Due to the current lockdown extension in Melbourne Femme remains closed for now. According to Victorias roadmap for easing restrictions schedule we plan to reopen on the 23rd of November. This is not an exact date, it will depend on case numbers at that time.... We have a few exciting things up our sleeve to keep you all motivated and on track with your health and fitness goals until then, so stay tuned for more info coming VERY soon!!
