However if you are installing a gate (sliding or swing, pedestrian or driveway) and you are having poured concrete - it’s generally best to put posts in first and definitely the gate track in before. This client is havin...g blades style around the front perimeter and we have worked with him on the planning and positioning of the concrete for both the blade fence, pedestrian gate and automated driveway gate. 01.01.2022 Sometimes I get so caught up posting that final amazing shot that I forget to share the work that goes in to that final product! Our team do not just install brand new fences and gates - we often modify the existing layout. Sometimes we cut out complete pillars to add a gate, sometimes we cut pillars to shorten them, sometimes we add in new brickwork to retain for a gate. At this #cottesloe project, the client is aiming for a more modern look to the front fence. We are cutting down the pillars, using the same pillar tops and creating three even levels stepping up to the side boundary.
