16.01.2022 After Black Saturday, Wandong Primary School built a chook pen to help some of the children who had lost family pets. The kids love giving them their left over fruit and veg every afternoon and collecting the eggs. Today, Fenech Farm was happy to donate 8 of our retiring hens to the school. They seem to be settling in well and we hope they provide lots of scrummy eggs for the Wandong Primary families.

09.01.2022 Everyone is doing their best to survive right now. Especially small business. The closing of most forms of hospitality effects not only the restaurants/cafes themselves, but the whole supply chain. Please remember to #supportlocal where possible instead of the major supermarkets. Head to your local fruit and veg store, local butcher and local speciality stores. Right now we need all the help you can give us to survive. Head down to some of Fenech Farm resellers and pick up ...some of our amazing eggs. You’ll not only be helping us, but helping them too. You’ll find out eggs at: Victory Meats, Broadford Victory Fresh, Broadford Flavour Cafe, Broadford Fowles Winery Farm Store, Avenel See more

06.01.2022 I found this diagram in this months Coles magazine. I though it may help some of you to make our Fenech Farm eggs exactly to your liking! The instructions state to bring the water to the boil, then slip your eggs into the water and time as per the diagram for your preference. I love dippy eggs with toast, how about you?

03.01.2022 Be aware of what you are buying and who your supporting. Check labels or ask at the deli when you get your ham and bacon. Aussie farmers need your support!

01.01.2022 We’ve had a new resident in the chicken paddock for the past few days. A nice little brown . After observing it for a few days we could see that it had set up residence in an old tree root hole close to the chicken trailer, and it didn’t seem in any hurry to move on. We decided today for the safety of Fenech Farm staff, the chickens and the snake itself (as the chickens were very curious about this giant worm ) that it should be relocated. Thanks to Anthony Calleja the snake removalist it was caught (after much digging) and relocated up the road to an unpopulated property.
