Most tap dancers are familiar with the swing rhythm ...for flap ball change but some are not as familiar with the straight rhythm flap ball change. If you have only ever done the swing rhythm style you may find yourself doing a half swing half straight rhythm when you attempt to do the straight rhythm To fix this brush up slightly higher during the flap.
