23.01.2022 never to young to be an activist!

23.01.2022 Some activities just aren’t the same in isolation. Missing the vibe of the drum circle. What is the sound of one djembe drumming? More insights on drum circles here https://thehardtimes.net//report-finds-marijuana-still-le/

23.01.2022 Curioser and Curioser. I recently discovered a secret pocket of the North Coast that drew me into a bizarre journey. Or was it a dream? I emerged venus-like from a bromeliad, explored a kale forest, sat on an edible toadstool, met a giant metal fly and was told cosmic secrets by a balinese spirit. Come to think of it, maybe the mushrooms came first.

22.01.2022 Gorgeous sunshine today and the opportunity to get a natural high- barefoot rock climbing with my sister. For those in lockdown, who can't get out and run wild at the moment, i'm sending good vibes as you climb your metaphorical mountain. The view from the top, when you make it, will be exhilarating.

22.01.2022 Celebrating the colours of September in the southern hemisphere. In Australia the first of September marks the beginning of Spring, even though the spring equinox is not until 22 September. I will save my pagan seasonal ritual til then.

22.01.2022 I bartered my home tattooing work for some yeast and a bag of bio dynamic organic stone ground wholegrain spelt flour to make sourdough. Thanks to Mum’s friend Martin for the (white flour!)semi-sourdough recipe. It is a family favourite that has been passed down and adapted by me.

22.01.2022 On the weekend i found the green body paint I'd put aside for the 2020 Nimbin Mardi Grass festival. Like all the festivals this year, it was cancelled, but that doesn't mean we can't get colourful. I decided to try out some new body paint designs and found a perfect canvas. My feral sister was at the creek waiting for her hemp fibre sarong to dry. So here she is, not dancing in a feral street parade but parading online instead. In case you haven't heard of the Mardi Grass, I found a picture of another gorgeous sister from the festival a couple of years ago to give you an idea. #bodyart #bodypaint

22.01.2022 With my feral sister on the way to the Black Lives Matter rally. Calling on all my doll sisters to join me. #blacklivesmatter #Barbie #thebarbiest

21.01.2022 I have just hung up my Tibetan prayer flags to send positive vibes to the world. Now first thing in the morning I can watch the wind spread their message of loving kindness. And i found out the prayer flags are always in this order- Blue for the sky, white represents the air, red symbolizes fire, green symbolizes water, and yellow symbolizes earth.

20.01.2022 Time is running out. I urge you to use all your cosmic energy this week -whatever form it takes - to protect humanity and the future of the planet. Around the world my wicca sisters are using spells against the man I can't bring myself to mention. Here in Australia my feral sisters joined me on the full moon to cast spells sending all power to our sister Kamala!

19.01.2022 Foraging for edible weeds is a great feral living skill- and you won’t find a better teacher than these gorgeous Irish sisters.

14.01.2022 I have been offering Reiki healing sessions to my sisters this week because we can all use a cosmic energy boost at the moment. Before I discovered Reiki, I worked as a masseuse giving goddess natural full body massage therapy but it was very tiring. With Reiki I never get tired at all! I can even do it by telepathy for people anywhere in the world, so it is the best therapy in times of social distancing. #reiki

13.01.2022 Seriously! Who would want a pink plastic Barbie pool when you can have a free personal infinity pool. Here I am at Goonengerry National Park on the NSW North Coast. It's a bit feral like me- not many signs, no maps or rangers -but a beautiful place to run wild.

12.01.2022 beautiful Korowai custom made for Feral Cheryl by Cheryl Kingi 365

09.01.2022 This is a great time to try a new hobby. With tattooists closed why not try home tattoos? Only with people in your household though.

08.01.2022 Its almost 25 years since i started sharing my simple lifestyle with the world. Today i share my morning yoga ritual - I open the tipi and welcome the day with salute to the sun, a headstand and yoga nidra relaxation. Namaste.

07.01.2022 Sharing another place of natural beauty on the NSW North Coast. I'm always seeking out places to live simply and run wild. Here I am doing morning yoga on Mullaway Beach, and exploring beach coves, banksia and wild paper daisies.

06.01.2022 I found another feral on my morning walk in The Channon- a feral guava tree with the last fruit of the season. You won’t find any more guavas now, but its a good time for pecans. These don’t grow wild on the side of the road so Important skills when foraging for pecans are scrambling under barbed wire fencing without snagging clothes, climbing trees, hiding in trees, and sprinting.

05.01.2022 Continuing my travels around hidden treasures of the Northern Rivers region. I've been visiting friends living on intentional communities, (i quite liked it when they were known as hippie communes). These have some of my favourite beauty spots. Today's highlight, a couple of eco-friendly composting toilets. Aren't these gorgeous!

05.01.2022 Celebrating National Catalan Day for my sister in the toy museum at Figueres, Catalunya. @museujoguetcat https://www.facebook.com/museujoguetcat/

05.01.2022 I already knew this of course.

04.01.2022 Social distancing is very difficult when you live in a very huggie mother-earth-loving community. My covid tip is to use fire-twirling to keep people at a safe social distance. In daylight hours i recommend going extra heavy on the patchouli oil. #socialdistancing #firetwirling

04.01.2022 Simply living tip for this week is to find some quiet space in these times of global crisis. I know many look to me for spiritual guidance ( I have featured in publications from Wicca to Christian theology- true!). So you may be surprised to learn that at times I seek out my own gurus. Last year I went to Dharamsala, the home of the Dalai Lama but unfortunately i didn't get to see him. But the universe provided, and I found my own teacher, the esteemed Dolly Lama. ... I brought her home with me and she appears to be maintaining an ongoing silent retreat, but she has a very calming presence.

03.01.2022 This week's tip for going feral is to dare to stay natural, like me, and not rush back to the beautician now that they're open again, to be waxed everywhere. 25 years ago I attracted a lot of media attention because i had piercings, dreadlocks and tattoos. I think i must have been an influencer because after that tattoos took off. Even Barbie got tattooed. So maybe this time I can be a pubic hair influencer. I'm pretty sure that's something Barbie won't copy.

01.01.2022 I don't need to travel to India to seek blessings from Ganesh (for new beginnings) or meditate in a Buddhist retreat. They are right here near my Northern NSW home. And I have been using any path or mantra i can find as we count down to November 3. This is not just for for my feral sisters and friends in America, but for the future of the planet. Did you know there are special meditation events for the election this year?https://insightla.org/event/election/2020-10-22-19-00/

01.01.2022 My feral tip for living simply this week is making your own Kombucha. My feral sister must have picked up on my telepathic vibes because she dropped in with a scoby culture and to share her brewing wisdom. Now I just have to practice patience, and wait for the fermentation. The Covid lockdown has provided many teachings on patience. I am still waiting patiently for the return of The Channon Craft Market with the chai tent and drum circle. Maybe by the time the market returns I'll be ready to set up a kombucha stall of my own.#kombucha OFFICIAL - The Channon Craft Market Inc.
