25.01.2022 Got solar but still getting hit with high power bills? This could be an option for you. If youre on a 44c or 50c feed in tariff, dont get too comfortable - that runs out soon! Retrofit your existing system to take batteries and take control again! Retrofit from $2400 (make ready to install 48V batteries) with 5 year inverter warranty. Full system with 9.6KWh capacity, 5 year inverter warranty, and 10 year battery warranty, from $7500... Contact me for more information and to confirm pricing. I dont do solar panels but I can put you on to those who can, recommending the right equipment and brands whether your focus is value for money or prominent branding.

25.01.2022 Vote One Nation! Me on the right.

24.01.2022 Professional Services: Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (Servicing, Repairs, Installation). Electrical. What makes my services stand out above the rest?... Parts and workmanship guaranteed. Value for money focused (not too cheap, not too expensive). Voltex is the preferred brand for electrical parts, offering substantial quality and warranties. Thinking outside of the box to deliver economical custom solutions to meet your needs. Flexible payment options (pay it off over time at no extra cost, some conditions apply). Employers tend to push their workers to hurry up and "have the job done yesterday", resulting in inferior / defective workmanship. I like to take my time and have the job done properly the first time and in a safe manner. On site cleaning is available and negotiable. Will advise if any unrelated defects are found, allowing you to rectify it before it becomes more costly later on. Pricing: Just ask. Send some photos of the job you need done and your address. If I have to come and look at the work, there'll be a charge involved but it could also end up being waived if you go ahead with the work. Some competitors offer dirt cheap quotes - The risks: If it's too good to be true, it probably is. There's cowboys out there who cut all sorts of corners, operate on stolen parts, no licence, and you often can't get in contact with them when you need the warranty on it. It happens all too often, especially with air conditioning. Avoid like the plague. The job is cheapest overall when done properly the first time.

24.01.2022 It is certainly interesting times we are living in! My professional services are still available, obviously with no contact and additional considerations implemented. This post is to make you aware of the research aspects that I know of. With this COVID-19 situation stringing out longer than an ordinary cold / flu and all the lockdowns as a result, anything is possible! Who knows what is around the corner!? It is anyones guess! Theres a few possible scenarios: This all bl...ows over and it is life as usual? This all blows over and changes start emerging? Some people speculate the book of Revelation is coming to light. As far as changes go for here and now, I have certain experience and information in my possession that would help with changes - particularly to power generation systems and ways to improve the efficiency of existing technologies / topologies. Who is with me here!? Unfortunately, much disinformation has been sold on the internet by greedy people. They do a great job of reducing interest in all alternative energy ideas. Im not in it for the money (but would of course want work opportunities if something did get going!). Many inventors (mostly now deceased) leave parts of the information and vague terminologies in their patents - taking the goods to the grave with them. I am straight up open and honest - my information and experience is there if you want to help me help us all. Itd be a donation with view to returns if things did get going as a result out of this. I was part of the solution back in the day as part of an organisation (that has since closed up) that had poor management and a lack of public interest, ceasing in 2013. If you dont want to help on this offer, Im not worried. You know that air conditioners produce more heat than the power they consume - look at an Energy Rating star rating and youll see what I mean. Other research I had previously been involved in: Ive witnessed and touched a snooker ball gravity wheel power generator near Sunnybank in 2007. I witnessed the Hydro bouyancy power generator machine on the Gold Coast in 2009. Using water to improve petrol and diesel engine efficiency with successful dyno and emissions results is a no brainer. I dont need to go into more detail on that. I know that gated magnet power generators are a real possibility. The use of propane in air conditioners to drastically improve their efficiency - legal everywhere else but QLD! NSW lifted their ban on it in 2005. Vote out Labor at the state elections in October! More information: http://feresearch.com.au/index.php?page=en_Research The website can be a bit slow - a new server coming soon, hosted locally!

23.01.2022 If you can't afford a split system air conditioner, this is a great option. It appears to be a DIY install and reasonably energy efficient. You'll need 1 for a bedroom, or 2 - 3 for a loungeroom. It's a cooling only unit, but it's a start. https://www.kogan.com//kogan-vertical-window-air-conditio/

22.01.2022 It seems to me that the best value for money energy provider depends on your setup (such as off peak tariff, solar, battery storage). I ran the numbers in a spreadsheet and came to that conclusion. Switching your air conditioners to hydrocarbon refrigerant not only saves you even more energy but the equipment actually has a longer lifespan. Unfortunately this is currently banned in QLD on no scientific basis, yet is supported by the Australian Standards. There is a petition w...hich is open to all QLD residents. Could you share and sign the petition to help get this ban lifted? https://www.parliament.qld.gov.au//petit/petition-details See more

22.01.2022 Energy efficient air conditioning and refrigeration is currently banned in QLD! Sign the Parliamentary petition if you want to see this changed. Why sign the petition? Switching to hydrocarbon refrigerants results in substantial cost reduction, improved equipment lifespan, and the environment. Retrofit your existing equipment or install specially made equipment.... More money in your pocket. Legal in every other state of Australia. Backed by the Australian Standards. 25 year track record of safety. https://www.parliament.qld.gov.au//petit/petition-details #qldjobs #qldsmallbiz #queensland #queenslander #queenslandbusiness #Palaszczuk #onenation #businessboost #pleaseshare #energymanagement #energyefficient #energysavingtips #energysmart

19.01.2022 Theres certainly some interesting theories and documented facts out there, but certain financial interests roll out disinformation too. Its the same with free energy research, having been in the game. Most of it is nonsense but there are some hidden gems.

19.01.2022 If youre in a rental property and cant install a split system but want air conditioning, this could be an option. Most people resort to portable air conditioners. Portable air conditioners cool the room and then blow that same air out the window - no wonder they are so expensive to run! This is my hack workmanship from way back. This worked a treat and the window was reinstated when we moved out, like it had never happened!... Cut out a piece of plywood the same size as the sliding window and fabricate a frame onto it, mounting a window air conditioner into it! Consult your local handyman who will be able to help you out.

16.01.2022 People pretending to be electricians on sites like Airtasker

16.01.2022 Propane comes out on top as a refrigerant gas!

16.01.2022 Please sign and share. We need at least 10,000 signatures on this one. Who doesnt want to substantially slash their air conditioning and refrigeration running costs!? Only sign the petition if you live in QLD (due to the eligibility requirements). https://www.parliament.qld.gov.au//petit/petition-details

16.01.2022 Reduce your air conditioner running costs significantly! Sign the petition to lift the ban on energy efficient air conditioning in QLD! Everyone in QLD - this affects you! Petition: http://chng.it/R9Mcvvm49Z ... More information on the ban: http://www.feresearch.com.au/index.php If the petition outcome is unsuccessful, put Labor last at the upcoming state election. Share with anyone you know in QLD!

16.01.2022 If youre in the Energex area and shopping for an electricity provider, the best deal really depends on your alternative energy setup! If you have no solar or a run of the mill solar installation with an off peak hot water system (most houses), the best value providers are: ReAmped, Kogan, Mojo, GloBird, and Nectr. Calculated on a Single Rate with Controlled Load, Energex network area.... If you have solar and enough batteries to cover you over during peak times, the best value providers are Energy Australia, Diamond Energy, and Alinta. Calculated on a Time Of Use tariff (no controlled load) in the Energex network area. --------------------------- Now that Ive helped you, could you return a small favour? Every other state of Australia enjoys energy efficient air conditioning but this is currently banned in QLD! 1. Sign and share the petition: https://www.parliament.qld.gov.au//petit/petition-details 2. Have your say at the state election on October 31. Put Labor last as they appear to be the cause of this problem. If youre not sure who to vote for, consider putting One Nation first!

15.01.2022 Bedroom air conditioners supplied and installed from $1250 (based in Eastern Heights / Ipswich). Other brands and sizes are available. Rinnai (Q series are offered here) are good value for money air conditioners suitable for simple installation conditions, with a comparable warranty and energy rating of the popular Mitsubishi air conditioners.... For a no obligation / free quote, message me on here with your address / other contact details, photos of the proposed indoor and outdoor locations, and photos of inside and outside of the meter box / switchboard.

14.01.2022 Found this dogs breakfast posted on Crappy Electrical, and theres plenty more where that came from! Yes, theres turkeys out there willing to do the job cheaper, but you truly get what you pay for! Theres even some people out there pretending to be electricians who dont even have a licence!

14.01.2022 Aside from the usual domestic jobs, I do some commercial work too. The concept is usually the same small or large. This shop freezer I recently worked on during an after hours shutdown had problems with the door heaters which normally remove the condensation and allow you to see the products in the freezer!

13.01.2022 Fake. You need current flow to produce a magnetic field. The negative terminals on those cells are at the same potential, and nothing connected to the positive terminals. No current flow. The magnetic field is coming from elsewhere. Meanwhile in need to know....

13.01.2022 If you want the opportunity to have cheaper air conditioning like the rest of Australia, please sign and share! We need at least 10,000 signatures on this one. The petition is open to all QLD residents. The link is in the comments!

12.01.2022 New fridge magnets are on order and are about to hit Eastern Heights and maybe a few other houses too - keep an eye out in your mailbox! Other notes: Ipswich elections are on the 28th. Were volunteering for Ursula Monsiegneur, so give her your vote if youre not sure who to vote for. My wife and I know her and her husband personally.... Theres some interesting research brewing on "DIY Powerwall" solutions if this is something you might be interested in. A Tesla Powerwall 2 costs about $12K, but the alternatives are overall much cheaper! The idea is to build a 48V DC battery array into a metal box with an isolator switch, hooked up to a hybrid solar inverter which fits in place in your existing solar system.

12.01.2022 The Department of Natural Resources Mines and Energy seems to be more interested in trolling my business page over brands of air conditioners and refrigerant gases than actually doing their job. Learn more and sign the petition: http://chng.it/R9Mcvvm49Z... Meanwhile at the mines in Moranbah...

12.01.2022 I always see this sort of nonsense showing up on my feed. So many turkeys thinking a wash bag and pressure cleaner solves all the air conditioning problems Theyd be more credible if they can explain the correlation between the refrigerant gas pressure and the temperature, or even know what sort of temperature measurements theyre looking for! Air conditioners that are short on gas often cause the mould to accumulate in the first place, and cost a lot more to run than a properly serviced air conditioner!

11.01.2022 Air conditioners do get quite dirty internally! Coronavirus can be spread through air conditioners - now is a good time for a clean and gas check! Ive seen some shockers! I have one of those professional air conditioner cleaning bags and pressure washer. 0421164224

10.01.2022 Some things are true and sometimes disinformation campaigns are mixed in. Can you spot the difference? "Anyone who knows anything about the frequencies in the same bandwidth as 5G knows they can charge small battery operated drones. This includes spy pigeons. ... With the speed of the 5G radiofrequency you can also transmit mass volumes of data such as audio and visual without even docking the device. Id be looking into this"

08.01.2022 Battery storage seems to be on the uptake in the times were living in now. Heres a quick price estimate guide (supply and install, with warranties): Hybrid inverter only with 5 year warranty (add your own 48V DC batteries): $2600 Hybrid inverter (5 year warranty) with 6KWh of lithium ion battery storage (10 year battery warranty): $8550... Add a second 6KWh battery (12KWh total): $6000 (total $14550) Hybrid inverter (5 year warranty) with 9.6KWh of lead acid battery storage & desulfator with 10 year pro rata battery warranty: $9000 Hybrid inverter (5 year warranty) with 14.4KWh of lead acid battery storage & desulfator with 10 year pro rata battery warranty: $11000 These are DC coupled systems, not the crappy AC coupled systems that are flooding the market. A typical solar installation is 6.6KW, while the inverter is only 5Kw. A DC coupled system will draw power from the full 6.6Kw, while an AC coupled system will only draw power from the available 5Kw - which wastes the remaining 1.6Kw potential of power. These systems only offer up to 5Kw of solar to AC, and 3Kw of battery to AC, anything extra is taken from the grid, but other options are available if you have specific needs. Lead acid battery systems are cheaper than lithium ion. Using a desulfator in conjunction with lead acid batteries prolongs their lifespan (but cells can still physically fail for reasons other than sulfation). I tested a similar charging technology in 2009 and it had incredible results! The above listed items are not set combinations, you can pick and choose to suit your needs! Ask me for a no obligation free quote. Prices may be subject to change and availability depending on the market.

08.01.2022 Coronavirus (COVID-19) updates: It is business as usual but with a few changes. Keeping a distance from you (the 1.5m or more, as everyone has been discussing).... If youre elderly or have a compromised immune system, it is best to hold off on getting work done until things settle, unless it is a critical issue. Parts prices may be subject to change (due to market volatility). If theres a major change to the price, youll be notified and given options. Battery retrofits are available. With the uncertainty of markets, you can now choose to have your existing solar installation retrofitted to take a battery array. This offers more capacity and efficiency (DC coupled instead of AC coupled) at a cheaper price than the off the shelf battery systems such as the Tesla PowerWall (which is AC coupled). It also means your house continues to get power for essential items even if the grid goes down.

07.01.2022 I installed two ceiling fans and relocated a light fitting at Hiddenvale Anglican Church, one of the offshoots of our church in Rosewood. They work a treat and will make things a bit more bearable in the summer! Ive done other works on old buildings like this previously if you have something similar needing works done that look presentable and dont compromise the integrity of the building. If youre after a generic or custom installation (like this one), phone or message me on 0421164224, or use the Send Message button on the main page.

07.01.2022 Supposedly an energy breakthrough. On a funnel web site, with some random specified saving. Right... Anyone in solar can see whats wrong with the photo

06.01.2022 Did anyone else receive this in their mailbox the other day? Ive looked into it to save you the trouble - it is nothing special. They originally quoted a 2.9KWh AC coupled battery for about $6400, which is not enough considering we run air conditioners and everything else of a night, and the odd clothes dryer run once a week / every other week. I asked them about the Tesla Powerwall2 battery (13.5KWh capacity, AC coupled), which they came back with for about $12k supply and ...install, with interest bearing finance and you have to sell your excess power to the grid as part of the plan. Origin Energy do it for $12,700 for the same thing but with 2 years interest free finance and no obligation to sell to the grid from it. I worked out I can do a retrofit DC coupled system, same warranty as the other batteries, supply and install, 9.6KWh for about $8500, or 14.4KWh for about $10,800. If you wanted to add the batteries yourself later on and save yourself some money, theres the option for that too. DC coupled is better if your panels are a higher rating than the inverter capacity or have export limiting. You can save your excess clipped power instead of losing it like you would on an AC coupled battery.

06.01.2022 People sometimes ask me if they can pay off their work over a period of time. It all depends on what sort of work it is! Theres no extra cost, unless it is commercial related. Id just need to see some form of identification and any other bills / real estate paperwork to confirm who you are. I would need a deposit for parts straight up, and the rest can be paid off over time. I would need notification prior to the works starting and it would be written into the quote / price estimate.

05.01.2022 If you want assurance of value for money, heres where it is at! The real estate agent was surprised I was able to repair an air conditioner at one of the properties (which would otherwise have been expensive to replace) and wants me back for more! A local major competitor visited one of the other properties and suggested replacing the air conditioner. The real estate agent wants my word on it and possibly repair it too. This could be interesting!

05.01.2022 A post from a competitor! Really!!?? If the air conditioner is underperforming, it usually needs proper servicing. They lose gas like your car tyres lose air.... The turkeys out there

03.01.2022 Updates to the petition: https://www.change.org/p/qld-labor-lift-the-ban-/u/26591044 Thanks for your support so far! The easiest and most effective thing you can do to help is share the post along! Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/story.php ... LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com//feresearch_environment-energyef/ Ive contacted DNRME minister Anthony Lynham, just in case he isnt already aware of the petition. Hes been contacted before about the issue. His response times (2 - 4 weeks) are appalling. We wont bother Dale Last at this stage, hes willing to do the right thing but cant as Labor are currently in government. Meanwhile in Moranbah... Im sure Ive read similar reports in recentish times! The DNRME seem to be doing a really poor job and need a shakeup! https://www.abc.net.au//moranbah-mine-explosion-q/12222430 I had a cracker of a comment on LinkedIn: "The double standards from the DNRME in Queensland are beyond a joke, no hydrocarbon refrigerants but hit most mine sites and you find 2 ton lpg storage vessels and 45kg bottles being used for bbqs on site and sitting in welding bays, not covered to stop sparks from cutting and grinding operations from hitting them. Maybe they should clean up there own backyards first."

03.01.2022 Energy efficient air conditioning conversions and Pioneer branded units are illegal in QLD, yet are supported by the Australian Standards. Sign the petition to lift the ban. If the ban isnt lifted, put Labor last at the QLD state elections. Petition: http://chng.it/R9Mcvvm49Z ... More information: http://www.feresearch.com.au/index.php

01.01.2022 Bring on October 31! The current QLD Labor government is denying consumers their right to energy efficient air conditioning (Hydrocarbon Refrigerant, supported by the Australian Standards). Every other state allows it.
