23.01.2022 It's Spring and with the first few warm days we need to remember that out laptops and desktops need to have a clean as well. Drop it in for a tuneup and service or call 0477 323 000 or 03 5332 9556 The fans that keep them cool and alive, collect dust and fine fibers , this reduces the effectiveness of the fan . The fan then runs at a faster speed to try and keep it's cool, creating more noise, using more power and sucking in more particles to increase the problem.... High temperatures inside the laptop or desktop will cause problems, from failures of the motherboard and hard drive are most common , not the CPU because it is designed to shut down when it becomes to hot and that can be too late for the other parts. Ok, the burst is not worth much at the moment BUT i have found that you can with some tuning mine burst and bitcoinHD at the same time , this will give me two coins from the same hardware . starting it now will update on how easy / hard it is to get going. Remember this is a personal project and i'm not expecting to make millions of $ ( if any )

13.01.2022 Hi All Burst coin update ! Now at 8,303 burst but in the last 9 months the price has dropped from 0.38 USD to just 0.004 USD so i have less that $40.00 USD Total . I have 30Gb of drive space in use and only spent money on a USB 3.0 hub and a 4 bay Sata to USB caddy and a USB Desk Fan to cool the caddy . 24 or 25 drives in total and it's been very stable for the last 3 months because i haven't changed anything!. It's not making any money while at these low prices but i hope they will go up . now mined 17 burst ! To add more storage i need bigger drives and i'm not getting any at the moment, only small dead ones.

09.01.2022 December is here and we just had a few hot ones to get us started. This desktop came in for a checkup , it was making a lot of fan noise . NO BLOODY WONDER ! 1)... the front case fan 2) after a light brush with the paint brush 3) this pile came out of the CPU cooler. People YOU need to check ! or get someone who can ! I do it with a tune up / service. It could save your computer , AIO's and laptops suffer as well if not more because they get choked up with less dust and fluff. Ferg See more

08.01.2022 Hi All, getting in some practice with custom roms for some older Android devices. Two Samsung Galaxy 10.1's upgraded from 4.2 to 7.1 and some junk removed makes them run so much better than before and an Asus Transformer TF300T from 4.2 to 7.1.2

02.01.2022 Thanks for the drives . some were dead but not all , i now have 6x 500Gb drives to test the burst mining with. I will keep you posted as i get some info to share Ferg

02.01.2022 Burst coin mining Update I now have more drives and less of the smaller sizes, weeding out the really bad drives has been good as it makes the process quicker and therefore more likely to record a good deadline for history purposes or mining a block and getting the big reward. 5 blocks now mined , Electricity cost stable at about $3.50 a week and busts accrued at about $3.00, without the mined blocks, their a bonus. I heed some more large hard drives to make it economical or for the price of burst to go back up
