22.01.2022 Are you over your ill-fitting masks yet? We have been getting so many lovely messages about the quality and fit of our cotton masks. This one, Waves, is an organic cotton and absolutely heaven against your face. I designed our masks myself, drafted my own pattern for them and then refined it and refined it to really sculpt the face and help prevent spectacle-fog. Looks like we are going to be asked to wear them for a while yet, so perhaps it’s time to turn to quality and a more pleasant wearer experience huh? Annebelle

13.01.2022 Water is fluid, soft, and yielding. But water will wear away rock, which is rigid and cannot yield. As a rule, whatever is fluid, soft, and yielding will overcome whatever is rigid and hard. This is another paradox: what is soft is strong. Lao-Tzu Soften your edges and soothe your body and mind. ... Loaded with magnesium and Dead Sea Salts and featuring our beautiful local Murray River Salt and Australian essential oils. You need this. #baththerapy

13.01.2022 This morning I offered a half hour Gentle Yoga class for isolation and the Covid blues live on this Facebook page. This is an edit of the session and I hope you...'ll find it helpful and share it with anyone who may benefit from it. Isolation is completely soul - depleting, and yoga can be such a wonderful resource to turn to in these complicated and trying days. Take care yogis x https://youtu.be/VsuRndm2YwM See more

10.01.2022 I have been thinking about this all day. As someone who is passionate about creating pathways for people to find ways to look after their heads, their hearts and their bodies, #ruokday is a prominent day on my calendar. But this year, it seems a pretty redundant question asking if you’re okay. Because most likely, the answer is a clear No. Not really. 2020 has created such havoc and heartbreak for so many people. But I got to thinking about the idea of okay. ... Along the scale between meh and blissful is a range of okayness. And we can traverse that wriggly road all day, every day. Or linger at either end of it. That’s called being human. What is important is that we can look ourselves in the eye and honestly acknowledge where we are. That we can own how we are feeling. Right now. And also to have someone we can lean on when we need to. Someone who just gets you and doesn’t need to witness your shiny shiny. Someone who can be present for You, just as you are. Maybe you’re someone’s someone. If you are, please know you are a blessing. An earth angel. And if you find yourself someone without a someone, please remember you’re lucky enough to live in a country with resources there to support you. I sincerely hope you’re all okay, and that if you’re not, you’ll be kind to yourself and ask for support. 09.01.2022 Are you feeling the full moon’s impending presence the way I am? I’ve been feeling so shattered today. Fragmented. Tired. Emotional. What my dad used to call tired in the head when explaining why we had to stay outside and play some days and let Mum rest. I’ve been hiding under my eye pillow and embracing stillness today. I wish my mum had have stumbled across the wonders of a flax seed and lavender eye pillow all those years ago. With nine kids to wrangle, she would... have loved one! #fullmoonrattles

07.01.2022 You know what I love? Being a small business who can create special pieces to order. Just playing with some mustard brushed velvet today and whipping up a bunch of Mustard Is Everything Luxe Eye Pillows for a special ladies retreat day at #phillipisland. I might even add this mustard velvet to the range .... What do you think?

06.01.2022 Many years ago I got an accidental 24 karat nugget of advice from my young nephew when he was trying to teach me how to boogie board. Get out of the dumping zone. He was watching me position myself in the water in exactly the right place to get dumped on. Again. And again. ... And again. I took that advice to heart. But sometimes we can’t get ourselves out of the dumping zone. Even if we know we are in it. Even if we really want to. I don’t know about you, but that’s how 2020 feels to me. It’s a dumping zone kind of year. And if you’re in Melbourne or regional Victoria like I am, I know you know what I’m talking about. So with tomorrow’s #WorldMentalHealthDay on my mind, I just wanted to suggest that you take an intentional moment to step out of your dumping zone. Press the pause button on everything for just a little while and acknowledge the struggles you’ve had to endure this year. You could make this a little ritual of lighting a candle to honour yourself. You could create a little altar yourself, perhaps putting a photo there if you at your most You-ness. A beautiful flower. A sweet treat. Burn some incense honoring all the souls that found their way together to actually have you arrive in flesh and blood on this earth. Or diffuse an essential oil that lifts your spirits. You are amazing. Yes you are. You are stronger than you know. Loved more than you could dream of. And inspiring to people you don’t even know about. It’s true. We may be stuck in the dumping zone for a while yet, but on World Mental Health Day let’s stop for a break and just be kind to ourselves. Surrounded by the surge and swell, let’s pause and taste the sea and smell the salty air for a moment and feel the sun on our skins too. Let’s appreciate the whole experience of being human. Take care, Lovely This amazing pic is by @mygippsland Mental Health Support @beyondblueofficial 1300 22 463 @lifelineaustralia 13 11 14 Pre + Post Natal @pandanational 1300 726 306 Kids Helpline @kidshelplineau 1800 55 1800 Body Image + disorders @thebutterflyfoundation #ruok #mentalhealthday #mentalhealth #pause #youarequiteamazing

04.01.2022 The more I look at these incense holders the more I fall in love with them. Made by hand from Bass Coast Wild Clay by our local gem Trilby Parise Artist, they are just stunning. And the perfect gift for the yogi in your life. ( Especially if it’s you!) The holder comes with five sticks of hand rolled Australian sandalwood incense. Keeping it as local as we can. And if you are located in our area (3995 or 3996) I will deliver to you personally. So. Very. Beautiful.
