25.01.2022 Club members Congratulated Past President Alan Tierney on his year as President. Although virus restrictions cut the year short his report to the Club showed we where not idle as the club had a rewarding year. Two presentations where made. Christine Anderson received a PHF with sapphire and non Rotarian Kay McAloney for her continual involvement in the club. Graeme Aspinall was once again induced as the 2020 - 21 President.



24.01.2022 Tonight the Rotary Club of Fern Tree Gully is at Scoresby Bunnings Easter Family Night. Our Easter Bunnies which the young children can decorate are a big hit.

21.01.2022 Congratulations to Sam Heydon, our nominee, for winning the Knox Council Australia Day Youth Citizen of the Year Award.

20.01.2022 Members of the Fern Tree Gully Rotary Club have been very busy this Friday and Saturday with a BBQ at Bunnings raising funds.It has been very busy over both days with members keeping up with the high demand for sausages.



18.01.2022 Our guest speaker last Thursday was Sam Heydon from Fairhills High School. Sam is currently the School Captain and past President of the Interact Club. Sam enlightened our Club on the recent trip a group of students undertook to Cambodia. Whilst there they constructed a bamboo house for a very poor family, planted bamboo and experienced the cultural background of the country. A well articulated presentation to the Club. District Governor Elect Daryl Moran also attend ed. Daryl message was that Rotary will grow after this pandemic.

14.01.2022 David Hockley from Crown Currency Exchange gave club members an insight into the Currency Exchange business. Crown Currency Exchange has been operating throughout Australia for 15years with 80 currency' s available at the best rates.



11.01.2022 The Fern Tree Gully Rotary Club is proud to support Mark Ballard in the work he and his club,Box Hill Rotary is doing in providing toilets and running water for girls schools in India. Our Club presented him with $3000.00 for their on going work.

10.01.2022 Last night members of Fern Tree Gully joined with Bayswater Rotary Club for exchange student Giula Baisini presentation of her 12 month exchange in District 9810.In her words it's been amazing and is sad to be leaving us.

08.01.2022 Last Sunday members, past members and friends of the Rotary Club of Fern Tree Gully celebrated the changeover of Club Presidents from Christine Anderson to Alan Tierney and adopting the Rotary Theme for the coming year Rotary Connects the World.
