13.01.2022 Wow what a day! The weather was a real challenge with heavy rain at times. We managed to stay dry and had a great day. The dried fruit at Gully Gardens was full of flavour and really popular amongst our group. Thorn-Clarke winery was awesome. Incredible scenery, even on a cold and wet day.The red wines were great and not too expensive. Halloumi on the frying pan at the Cheese Company in Angaston was just what we all were eager to try. We weren't disappointed! It has to be the best Halloumi in Australia. Thanks to the friendly staff at Nosh Cafe for a great lunch. Langmeil and Seppeltsfield continued the great wine tasting. What a treat to stop at Mount Pleasant for a great coffee and buns / cakes at Lovells. Thanks to Margaret for bringing the group together for a great day.
