A protein supplement is awesome if you exercise a lot, feel you can’t stomach something heavy after a workout, find it’s easiest/quick or because you simply enjoy it! But if you have a fairly well balanced diet you don’t NEED to purchase protein or protein shakes. You can also fuel your body with protein from real foods. This is a great easy diagram via The Food-Medic of ...some other options: Yoghurt with some berries Peanut butter Milk Eggs Tuna lean meats Nuts Cheese & crackers Diary, eggs, meat/fish and soy protein are also a good source of leucine which is an essential amino acid that assist in building muscle.
