23.01.2022 Glute building 101 It definitely takes patience and a lot of hard work! Glute Activation: Activating your glutes before a workout is extremely important. Glutes are well known to be stubborn sleeping giants, so to start with you need to activate your them beforehand with say the stairmaster and a resistance band walk.... Have multiple leg days. For example 3 leg days a week with all different exercises. One is typically including exercises like squats and deadlifts and the other 2 days include glute isolating exercises like kickbacks, walking lunges, hip thrusts, and alternate leg exercises where you really focus on each glute. Focusing on your glutes and making that mind-to-muscle connection is key to really aid in muscle growth. But don’t forget about your hamstrings! Hamstrings play a key role in the overall tone and shape of your butt. They have a few key muscles that attach near the glutes. The stronger your hamstrings are, the better your butt looks. You need to eat! Shredding will make it harder for you to build a booty. Focus on eating healthy carbs around your workout (before and after) and eating plenty of protein. Power Cardio: Think cardio that activates your glutes. Like the stairmaster, walking on a steep incline, walking lunges and step-ups. (Do these all while having that muscle-to-mind connection with your glutes.) Weight Progression: Make sure that you’re getting stronger over time. Don’t become used to the same amount of weight. Add weight as you go. As you build muscle, the more weight you will need to add. (you should have enough weight so that it’s challenging, but not too much as to cause injury and also ensure to keep correct posture as well as core activation at all times) REST. Allows the muscles to recover and grow. 24 hours between glute workouts is a great recovery time frame. Here are some of the best glute building exercises: Squats Deadlifts Reverse Lunges Hip Bridges Back Extension Squat variations Kickback-Abduction variations

01.01.2022 Hi everyone! This is a great article and well worth the read. Now is the time to focus on mental and physical health. It's easy to be negative about the situation and rules, changes etc and can be really easy to take it out on other people and have unrealistic expectations of them. We need to now, more than ever show kindness to ourselves and to others and that includes businesses and their staff who have continued to be negatively affected by the situation. Remember that, ju...st like you, everyone is doing the best they can https://health.ucdavis.edu//covid-fatigue-is-hitti/2020/07
