22.01.2022 Good Afternoon Ladies! We have been working around the clock to make sure we have our covid safety plan running for your return to our club Monday 1st June!!. ... Today we will open bookings and release our group fitness timetable, FIIT30 (MBW) classes, gym floor sessions and open creche bookings. You will also receive an email later today explaining things in more detail. In line with our Covid safety plan for gym openings in stage 2.1, please read below some important information before your first visit back to the club. Please wipe your equipment before and after use on gym floor. Gym floor, group fitness and FIIT30 sessions all need to booked via the Fernwood app We will have some cycle classes! All socially distanced and capped at 10 per class. Group fitness classes will also follow social distancing with classes capped at 10. Your instructor will advise you of any equipment that you will need with wipes provided to sanitise before and after your session. We will be open 24/7 Our beautiful showers will be closed temporarily until we are advised of when shared spaces can re open. Please come dressed for your workouts. Bring your own mat,towel and water bottle. No towel - no workout. FIIT30 sessions will run at MBW and are capped at 10. Sessions will be programmed for no sharing of equipment and ensuring social distancing in the studio. Trainers will help set you up! Please also note the new evening time of 5:45pm. All visits to the gym will need bookings prior. This is to ensure we do not exceed the 20 per enclosed spaces in the gym. Thank you for your support during the gradual lifting of Covid-19 restrictions. We are very excited to be opening! We are so happy to be able to provide a safe and hygienic space for you to enjoy your workouts. We will have plenty of air hugs, sanitiser and smiles for you! Xx

Chicken skewers with tzatziki wraps 4 skinless chicken breasts 1 lemon 2 tsp oregano 1 garlic clove 1 small yellow pepper 1 small red pepper wholemeal tortilla wraps, to serve baby spinach leaves, to serve few sprigs flat-leaf parsley , to serve For the tzatziki cucumber garlic clove 4 tbsp Greek yogurt 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil You will need eight bamboo skewers Method: STEP 1 Soak eight bamboo skewers in water. Using sharp kitchen scissors, chop the chicken into small pieces. Pop into a plastic box with a lid. Pare strips of lemon zest from the lemon using a vegetable peeler, then juice the lemon as well. Add both the peel and the juice to the chicken in the box along with the oregano and the garlic, crushed in. Season generously, mix and put in the fridge for 15 mins with the lid on. Deseed and chop the peppers into similar-sized pieces to those of the chicken. STEP 2 Heat a griddle pan to high while you get the chicken out. Discard the lemon zest and thread the chicken onto the skewers, alternating every few bits of chicken with a piece of red pepper followed by a piece of yellow pepper. Griddle for 10 mins, turning halfway. STEP 3 While the skewers are cooking, make the tzatziki. Get a box grater and a bowl. Cut the cucumber into long lengths, discarding the watery seedy core. Grate into the bowl, then grate the garlic clove. Season generously and stir in the Greek yogurt. Drizzle with a little extra virgin olive oil. STEP 4 Serve the skewers hot off the griddle with the dip, or take the chicken and peppers off the skewers, leave to cool and pack into wholemeal wraps spread with a little tzatziki and rolled up with baby spinach and a few picked leaves of parsley.
