05.01.2022 Important COVID-SAFE Information FANS Fitness Australia have recommended that Gyms do not have fans running to minimise the risk of droplet transmission. As such, we have switched all fans off in club. Please do not switch them on.... MASKS/FACE COVERINGS The Victorian Premier has today announced that from midnight Sunday night, Masks/Face coverings must be worn by all Victorians when outside of the home. WHAT THIS MEANS FOR US Following advice from Fitness Australia around face masks in our clubs, the advice they have given is as follows: Members should all enter the club wearing a mask. Where possible we recommend they keep it on, however if necessary for high intensity exercise such as running where they are puffing they can take it off but they must have it on them to place back on at all times. If a member has the correct medical documentation to show they are exempt from wearing a mask, then as long as this is sighted by a staff member they must be exempt. All staff should be wearing a face mask in club. Staff can take their mask off when they are teaching classes, however they should enter and exit with one and only take it off for teaching. Following the birth of her second son, Eda found herself in a very low place. She was extremely exhausted, she isolated herself from friends and found herself crying for no reason. It was five months post-birth that Eda broke down to... her husband, and then found herself sitting in her GPs office acknowledging and accepting that she had post-natal depression. In this podcast episode, Eda talks openly about her journey with post-natal depression, seeking professional help and support, and the importance of being patient and kind to ourselves.
