25.01.2022 The FCHS Plant Collectors Sale & Garden Expo is fast approaching. This is one of the FCHS events not to be missed! The event will showcase plants, sculptures, art, beekeeping and much more, find something for your home and garden. There will also be fun for the kids on Sunday 7th March including face painting and a jumping castle (COVID restrictions dependent). 11.01.2022 Dear members As per the advice from the DHHS and the Premier that - social gatherings outside the home are now reduced to 10 people - we will have to postpone the return of working bees open to our members.

04.01.2022 We hope you are all excited for our first event for the new year, the 2021 Plant Collectors Sale & Garden Expo! The event will showcase rare & unusual perennials, bulbs, trees, succulents & more, Aust made quality garden tools, and Children friendly activities! Set in 10 acres of beautiful gardens, guided walks will be available for those who are keen to learn more about our gardens. $5 entry (under 14 free). Free on-site parking. Bus groups welcome by arrangement, email [email protected]. Watch out for further updates closer to the date. 04.01.2022 Working bees will be returning to our gardens from 22nd June. They will he held between 9:30am and 12:30pm on Mondays and Thursdays. Please bring your own tools, drinks and snacks while we still try to adhere to distancing requirements. We hope to see you there to enjoy the gardens and have a catch up with other members.

The meetings happening in February are: 1st Feb, 11am, Craft Group - Planning Day 6th Feb, 2pm, Rock Garden Group - Flowers from my garden... 13th Feb, 2pm, General Meeting - Streptocarpus, Speaker Robert Dodson 18th Feb, 12pm, Propagation Training Group - Semi-hardwood cuttings / divisions of bulbs 20th Feb, 2pm, Rhododendron & Camellia Group - Cutting Propagation All meetings are held at the FCHS Club House. 02.01.2022 Unfortunately we have to postpone the recommencement of our Working Bees due to the Governments re-tightening of restrictions. We hope to have good news on them recommending in the coming month. Let’s work together at reducing the cases across Victoria.
