24.01.2022 Last weekend, we had the thrill of supporting the ACT Writers Centres very first HARDCOPY Digital, a professional development program for the next generation of writers that opened itself up to writers from across the country. Combining a video and audio livestream with chat, article sharing and workshopping, writers got the chance to be in the room whether they were in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and anywhere in Australia. Some even said digital was better than being in the room which is exactly what we were hoping for.

24.01.2022 How long is too long for a web page? And how can you write shorter, more effective pages? Heres our latest post to help create content that works. http://www.georgedunford.com//lightening-load-on-text-heav

23.01.2022 ***Thanks to everyone who gave their input - poll is now closed!*** Were about to refresh the website and were running a very short survey (4 questions and mostly painless) to get your thoughts on why you visit the site and if were doing a good job. Complete it here: http://ferrous.digital/

16.01.2022 We really enjoyed chatting with grads and students at the Canberra Defence + Space Student & Industry Jobs Networking @ CBRIN yesterday. So many bright young things and brilliant project ideas. https://app.ribit.net/events/20181120_canberra

13.01.2022 Heres a little post about discovering your content strategy. Who are you writing for? With a nod to Gerry McGovern and his rubbish dump hotel analogy. http://www.georgedunford.com//finding-your-content-strateg

12.01.2022 Microcopy - the small stuff worth sweating and it may even win a Walkley this year. This week we look at when to keep your content light to engage and when to lay off the LOLs for serious transactions. http://www.georgedunford.com///spotlighting-microcopy.html

11.01.2022 The newly released building blocks for digital services have been released from Australia's Digital Transformation Agency. Lots of best practice for gov in here: https://beta.dta.gov.au//new-building-blocks-digital-servi

10.01.2022 We've been quietly beavering away on a few projects that have just gone live. Just last week we launched this site for Scope Global's Vanuatu Skills Partnership program with outstanding work from Melissa Adams in wrangling images, plugins, code and content to create a beautiful easy to use site. It promotes the work of Scope in creating training opportunities in Vanuatu. http://www.vanuatutvet.org.vu/

10.01.2022 Weve done a refresh on our website to celebrate one year in business. In August we asked what you expected from the website and you told us you wanted examples of our previous work (36.4% of respondents) and contact details (27.3%). So weve added those along with a few of the people we use on our projects. But wed love to hear what you think. Anything missing? https://ferrous.digital/ Thanks to Connor Thomas OBrien at Studio Sometimes for all his hard work tweaking the template, designing the animation and lots of other support!

05.01.2022 Thanks to everyone who contributed to our website survey - as well as great responses about bats we also heard that you want more case studies and more about what we do. Very helpful!
