22.01.2022 Some days we are not at our best but this gentle mantra reminds us to come back to our breathe, smile and start again. Being kind to ourself is the best self care

21.01.2022 Love that male fertility is getting more airtime! The more we talk about it the more men will feel comfortable seeking treatment, after all 50% of infertility is now related to the male side of the equation so treating men is key!

19.01.2022 I see this as so true time and time again with my patients who face fertility challenges. It can get tough, in fact really tough at times but trusting that you will be ok and that you can do it is so important. It is also about building the right support team around you to support you through. Is there something in your life at the moment that you are struggling with that you need to trust it will be ok and that you will be ok through the process? Are you reaching out to your support network when you need to?

18.01.2022 So many couples are confused by when is the best time to time intercourse to improve their chances of falling pregnant. Not every woman ovulates on Day 14! This article explains simply how best to time it. If you are confused I highly recommend using BBT charting to see exactly what is going on with your cycle. https://www.betterhealth.vic.gov.au//If-you-want-to-get-pr

18.01.2022 For those that are struggling at the moment please know that sometimes you just need to breathe, trust and see what happens as this quote says

14.01.2022 We are all in desperate need for some grounding and self care at the moment and this at home retreat is such an awesome idea! An amazing group of practitioners direct to your home ... it couldn’t be easier to spend a day or two of total self care

13.01.2022 Sometimes patients of mine get to the end of the road with using their own eggs and it is time to consider using donor eggs. This website is a great resource for those considering this option. I love working with couples to prepare for using an egg donor and helping patients navigate the often complex journey of donor eggs. These beautiful babies bring so much joy and would not be here if these women and couples did not face their fears and make the leap https://www.varta.org.au//support-group/donor-conception-n

13.01.2022 This is a great book for anyone wanting to find out more about how they can support their egg health. And while I am a firm believer that for some women there are many factors involved in why they are not falling pregnant such as progesterone imbalances, natural killer cells and male factor issues, egg quality is also key and this book is a great resource to explore. https://itstartswiththeegg.com

13.01.2022 Endometriosis significantly affects many women and these videos by Endoactive are such a great resource for sufferers wanting to find out more and explore how best to support themselves. Please pass onto anyone that you know that may benefit from this information

07.01.2022 I listened to this great podcast on Adenomyosis on the weekend. Adenomyosis is a fairly common diagnosis, particularly amongst women struggling with infertility. Unfortunately it is often disregarded as insignificant which in most cases I tend to disagree. So if your pelvic ultrasound shows Adenomyosis I highly recommend you list to this podcast to gain some more understanding about it. https://www.fxmedicine.com.au//understanding-adenomyosis-l

06.01.2022 I love this quote! We can make a difference and I so feel that about how I support my patients plus also with how I try and live plastic free and eat as organically as possible. Where do you feel you make a difference?

05.01.2022 I have been off dairy for over a decade as it doesn't suit me and as this article explains, it probably doesn't suit many others, particularly those who experience period pain, PMS or heavy period. An interesting read if you suffer from any of these issues. https://www.larabriden.com/what-dairy-does-to-periods/

01.01.2022 This is a great post highlighting how infertility / IVF can impact women in the workplace. It’s good that we have these conversations as we do need to do it better! How could your workplace support women better?
