25.01.2022 Seafood is a really important part of a fertility diet It's not only a great source of protein, it contains omega-3 fatty acids, zinc, iodine and coenzyme q10, all of which are key when trying to conceive. Research has even discovered that couples who eat more seafood fall pregnant sooner than those who rarely eat it. If you can, aim to eat at least 2 - 3 serves of fish or seafood each week. If you already eat fish this often, amazing, if not, can you incorporate some into ...your meals each week? And this doesn’t have to mean paying a fortune for expensive fresh fish either. Tinned fish is great, easy and cheap! 07.01.2022 FRUITY BLISS BALLS by the wonderful @aleishadeane.dietitian Base Ingredients: 1/2 cup of fresh dates, pitted... 1/2 cup of mixed nuts (roasted or raw) 1/2 cup of rolled oats 1/2 cup of paleo mix 1/4 cup desiccated coconut 2 tbs of water 1/2 cup frozen or fresh fruit of choice Variations: Original - Leave out frozen or fresh fruit Nut free - Swap mixed nuts for mixed seeds & choose a paleo mix without nuts Choc - Add 1 tbs of cacao or cocoa Peanut butter choc - Add 1 tbs of cacao or cocoa & 1 tbs peanut butter Higher protein - Add 1-2 scoops of protein powder Method: 1 Combine all ingredients into a food processor & blend until a mixture forms 2 Roll mixture into balls 3 Coat half with coconut or your choice of coating (optional) 4 Store in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer (Prep time: 10 mins. Makes 14 medium balls.) How good do they sound?!
