13.01.2022 Merry Christmas! Thank you for all your support this year and I look forward to seeing you next year.

13.01.2022 Hello At this stage I am open for business as usual. But to help keep us all safe in these new and uncharted times, we ask that if you are experiencing any flu like symptoms or have recently traveled overseas, please dont bring your instruments in for servicing or repair. My priority is the health and safety of my customers and my family so I have put into place new operating procedures:... 1) I will be keeping your instrument case closed for 3 days from receiving it. So please add an extra 3-4 days onto normal turn around time. This may lead to a longer than usual turn around time; 2) Please include your name address, phone number and brief description of work to be done on a piece of paper inside the case to facilitate quick easy drop off; 3) I have also upgraded the strength of my shop cleaner and disinfectant. I know the longer than usual turn around time can be quite frustrating but again during this unprecedented situation my priority is the health and safety of my customers and my family. This is a new experience for us all as a community. Please be kind as its going to get interesting trying to navigate through this new normal. #staysafe #bekind #localbusiness

09.01.2022 If you worked at a music store or played or taught an instrument in Brisbane over the last 30 odd years, you probably would have come across Howell. He passed away last night. Howell was a massive influence on Brenda Kinsella, Sally and I as repairers, but much more than that, he was such a great friend to so many people. Well all miss you Howell - your sense of humour, your sense of adventure and just for being you. Will post funeral details when we know. Julie JonesTina Inns

08.01.2022 After careful consideration I have decided to shut my shop for a least a month. I will reassess this on April 25th. I am trying to do my best for my customers and my family to keep everyone safe and healthy. As my business is not essential I dont think too many people will be disrupted. If you are I apologize, I hope you all stay safe and well and I look forward to helping you out in the near future. Any repairs I currently have will be finished and customers contacted when ready. Thanks for all your support so far

04.01.2022 Dont forget to get your brass instruments serviced yearly! Just because everything is playing and moving properly doesnt mean there isnt a build up of grime and grot inside Here is a quick video of a trumpet being cleaned in the ultrasonic cleaner , check out the grot coming out of it!!
