22.01.2022 Wednesday 23 September primary school students are gathering on mass at cinemas and in their schools for FESTIVAL SING 2020! This sing a long movie was created to replace the cancelled Festival of Music concerts at the Adelaide Festival Centre due to COVID. Only once before in the Festival of Music’s 129 year history have concerts been cancelled, and that was in 1919 due to the Spanish Influenza. So that the 13,000 students who participate in this program continue to have an end goal to their learning and to celebrate their learning, the Festival of Music has made a movie, and rebadging this year’s program to FESTIVAL SING 2020! All affiliated school choirs will sing along to the movie when it screens on Wednesday 23 September in a local cinema or in their school, and in line with COVID-19 protocol.

If there is something happening at PSMF, Chad is always helping.... His focus is unwaveringly for the kids. Thank you Chad for everything you do!!!

11.01.2022 This is Vanessa, Toby and Maria (crew/troupe manager). These three are part of the Crew Team, formally known as Troupe Coordinators, at PSMF. This year they have been responsible for getting all the Crew Stars at the right location, rolling with rescheduling and relocating and getting ready for filming take after take!... Thank you for you endless patience and commitment.

Crew Here are our Adelaide Festival Accompanists; Caroline, Carol and Felicity This year the Adelaide accompanists worked with the Festival of Music Orchestra and recorded "Spinning, Spinning". When you watch the movie keep an eye out for them. Usually you would see them on the Festival Theatre stage during the Concert Series.... Thank you for the beautiful piano playing even in unusual locations!

06.01.2022 - : Woodville High School. The Communicable Disease Control Branch of SA Health has informed us that a student who attends Woodville High S...chool Official is a confirmed case of COVID-19, and has attended while potentially infectious. As a result the school will be closed on Thursday 26 November until further notice. Anyone who attended the site on Monday 23 November 2020 must isolate immediately with all members of their household until further advice is provided. Anyone with COVID-19 symptoms should present for testing as soon as possible. A thorough clean of the relevant areas of the school will be carried out. The Department is in the process of notifying families and staff.

02.01.2022 Meet the Festival SING 2020! Crew This is Michael, Sue, Lisa, Katie and Sharon, These people are the Festival of Music Orchestra (FoMO) Team. Orchestra looks very different this year, its one BIG orchestra of 87 students. This year the Conductors have guided their young musicians online, virtually to practice on their own, coming together for 1 workshop and recording at Grainger Studio (home of the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra), providing all of us with so many WOW moments.... Thank you for your flexibility and expectation of excellence.
