25.01.2022 Festival of Voices is proud to have recently been granted with The Australian Tourism Accreditation Program (ATAP) Rainbow Tasmania Tourism Accreditation. This provides the opportunity for us to officially show that the festival has and will continue to treat all people in the same non-discriminatory manner and provides a safe and comfortable environment for everyone.
25.01.2022 #TassieBigSing If we can't be together physically in July, let's still celebrate the power of song at our virtual Big Sing(along)! We want you to make multiple micro-festivals across backyards from Deloraine to Dover on Friday 3 July at 5.30pm. The song? Your Love Keeps Lifting me Higher and Higher... The event? We'll learn the song and sing it simultaneously alongside a very special commissioned performance with some of very special Festival friends. Join us here on Facebook, on the ABC Hobart Facebook page OR on the radio at ABC Hobart for a simultaneous broadcast!
24.01.2022 #CreateAustraliasFuture Today, artists from across Australia are joining together to take part in a one-day action to demand that the Australian Government acts now to support The Arts. At this moment, every artist has lost their audience and therefore theyve lost the income stream that they normally generate for themselves This industry is on the brink of collapse We are keenly aware that we are not on the frontline, we are not wearing PPE and ventilators but we are t...he voice. We are your voice. We need to make sure that, after this pandemic has passed, Australia still has a voice. To tell the beautiful, eccentric, crazy, dark, hilarious and profound stories of who we are as a people. I urge you to support us. - Richard Roxburgh - actor, writer, producer and director https://www.limelightmagazine.com.au//australian-artists/

20.01.2022 If you think we have been sitting idle in 2020, think again! We have used this year to gather, reflect and patiently plan for our next festival. Our website has been given a fresh new look (thank you Cathy Mcauliffe and Mat Wearne) and we have lots in the pipeline, but what’s important to us right now is to understand what your plans are for 2021?
