23.01.2022 New bracelets now available at the ocean breeze gallery. $5

22.01.2022 Apart from a couple of touch ups, Jazz is complete. Isn’t she pretty

20.01.2022 Another small painting done while waiting for paint to dry. This one is 20cm x 20cm and painted with a pallet knife.

18.01.2022 Today’s commission painting was a beetle . A nice simple one but I think it’s pretty Ixora shield bug

17.01.2022 I can’t share my recent portrait as it’s a Christmas gift. So I thought I’d paint some small canvases while I’m waiting for paint to dry. That way I’ll have something to share. Here’s a simple seagull. Very soft compared to my last lot of paintings

16.01.2022 Open today 10am - 2pm

15.01.2022 Just a small painting of No Face

13.01.2022 Commissions I have completed

13.01.2022 I’ve been making a bulk lot of new studs at night lately since I’m nearly out. I’m looking after the ocean breeze gallery tomorrow and I’ll be bringing most of them with me. The gallery will be open 10am - 2pm. Come and say hi if you’re free (and local)

13.01.2022 I’ve been working through my list of pet portraits. They have all been gifts so I can’t share them yet. But here is one I can share. I’ll post progress pics as I go.

13.01.2022 Number 4. The last portrait in this set. I can’t wait to take a pic of all four together. Hope this one will be finished by tomorrow night.

11.01.2022 Today’s painting. I seem to have a thing for birds at the moment. Is there a quirkier bird than the puffin??!! I love them. Apparently scientists accidentally found out that their beaks glow under ultraviolet light. And they can carry up to 10 fish in their beaks at once. I think I captured a bit of quirkiness in this guy. Hendrix demanded attention

10.01.2022 With Christmas gift portraits finished, I can now start sharing again. I have another pop up shop this Friday and Saturday and an open studio in December (details coming soon) and I’m very low in stock so I’m going to be quite busy in the next couple of weeks. Today, the painting I’m sharing is from a photo I took of one of my tea pots. I love tea pots and enjoy painting them . This will be available at the pop up shop on Friday in the Boyne plaza.

09.01.2022 Today’s painting is of a magpie. I have a love hate relationship with these birds. I really do love them and their songs are beautiful. But as a cyclist who’s had an earring ripped out by one, they terrify me in the spring and the bike stays in my bedroom this painting will be available at the pop up shop on Friday. 27.5cm x 36cm $80

07.01.2022 Jazz and Sam are complete and I think they turned out lovely . I added a few pics with different lighting because I couldn’t get it right.

06.01.2022 I found another cool moth on my wall and it stayed still enough for me to take a pic

04.01.2022 Here she is! The final portrait in this set. Isn’t she pretty . Tomorrow night I’ll post them all together so stay tuned. @ Tannum Sands

02.01.2022 My youngest turned 9 today. I painted this jacket for her and it came out pretty well, I think. She likes it too . If you’re wondering about the the ears and tail, they are for a character she’s been creating for her own animation art and she plans to dress up as her at the next pop culture event we go to

02.01.2022 How great do they look all together!!! They’re definitely going to attract a lot of attention.
