25.01.2022 This weekend our friends at Ember Dining are hosting a (SOLD OUT) charity dinner, donating 100% of proceeds to the Victorian Bushfire Appeal & Wildlife Victoria . The good people at Ember are donating their time, incredible talents and beautiful venue to the cause. They’ve rallied a host of local producers who have donated their goods on the night, including Imbue Distillery, Yering Station, Detour Beer Co., Locavore Sugarloaf Produce, Warrandyte Berry Farm to name a fe...w. Their aim is to raise $5,000+ on the night for these very worthy appeals. We are proud to play a small part, pouring our 2017 Fetherston Pinot Noir with dinner. If you live in Melbourne, do yourself a favour and drop into Ember for lunch or dinner - the food and people behind this new venture are pretty phenomenal. See more

15.01.2022 2017 Fetherston Nebbiolo ‘This was the wine I kept going back to in a blind line up. And I had a slew of visitors during it too, and kept pouring them this one out of the brown paper bag. Pale coloured garnet thing in glass. Transparent and yet tense, red cherry, rose hip tea, faint malt and pulverised rock characters. A swish of firming tannins, all stony and drying too, but finishes blood orange mouth-watering and pretty in a way. Very fresh, poised and pure, very lon...g and fine, very good wine here. This wine takes us to Beechworth with uber-talented and all-round good guy Ben Haines. 2016 ‘Firelights’ Syrah. It grabs you from the first whiff. There’s sweet, broody red and black fruit, spice, anise and crushed rock. Palate is zingy yet balanced, soft yet assertive, understated yet complex.... Perfect match for our medium-rare scotchy’s and some crappy winter weather. Great work Ben! #benhaineswine #syrah #beechworth See more
