12.01.2022 For those interested in improving their genealogical skills, the Society of Australian Genealogists run a Certificate and Diploma Course. I have included details below - "Designed to help members improve their research, analysis and writing skills, this course must be successfully completed before you can enrol in our Diploma in Family Historical Studies. The Certificate course is not designed to teach you how to undertake genealogical research; you are expected to already ha...ve a good working knowledge of family history and have been researching for a minimum of three years before applying for a place in the Certificate course. The course runs for 18 months, and successful candidates must complete 8 components of work in that time (assessments and an online examination). Entry is only open to financial members of the SAG which can be activated upon acceptance to the course. Good internet access is important, as all work is distributed and submitted online. Applications for 2021 will be open from 1-28 February and are not accepted outside these dates." Anyone interested, please contact me directly
